Ooo. I took Latin last year, and it would be easy to get a 'join Cantr!' poster in the latin classroom... I already begged the spanish teacher to put one in her room. ^_^
And I'd get a latin charrie the moment one of mine dies... Don't get any ideas.

I could probably drag someone else into the game easily enough, if only to practice their latin.

I would start playing in Latin the next time I have an open character slot. In fact, I would keep one open just for it, whenever I lose a character next.
I don't know it yet, but I have some family motivation to learn it, and that motivation is not going to go away for a long time, so count me in.
I think, therefore I think I am, I think

I am back, I have been away for a few days, I have had a lot of homework to do with two projects so I haven't had much to say, I am now wondering if anyone had a neo-latin dictionary, we will need one if we ever hope to translate the sight.

Okay, I got off my lazy butt and sent in the Application, sorry for all of those who wanted to play earlier. I am going to try and start translating now.

Although I learned Latin in High School, I don't know if I 'd still be able to communicate properly, but I could always give it a try.

I could help anyone who wants to learn or get refreshed, I might not be the best candidate, but something is better than nothing, and you can always ask Judith, she knows Latin quite well.

I haven't actually tested the top one, or the bottom three, Plekhov found them and I posted them up.

Those are some great resources you can use, and, of course, if you need help contact me or Judith and either of us can help you learn.

:D

When did this area appear?

Damn the fact I have 15 characters already...

(Oh, and if any help is needed with this language area, I might be able to help. Depending on what needs doing, of course...)

Latin has appeared as an option on the main page.

So it must be almost there, if not already...

Does the dialect of Pig latin qualify for this area?

No, the Latin area doesn't exist yet and probably won't come to exist at all, unless we can find a new translator... trage has left the LD.
