Did these events occur after or before the time warp?

No, after. So they waited to take care of him, but instead they got word about his death...

believe it was Sheriff Bekah Starz if my memory serves me correctly

Wasn't she somewhat of an asshole?

Weren't all the sheriff's assholes at that time? Remember Richard Lenseth in Quillanoi? He didn't make to many friends either.

I haven't had any characters staying in Quillanoi for a longer time, but I did have one passing when he got locked up. He seemed allright when my character talked to him, but that was only briefly...

I think the assholiness of the sheriff's increased in relation to how far they were from Siom and the people there who would have smacked them straight. There was one time when 2 or 3 deputies were stripped of their positions because of how they handeled their "mission", they acted more like mafia stronge arms then sheriff deputies. Not that a grudge was held against them, but the officials in Siom used to be extremly picky about the image their hired hands showed to the world.

I must be one of the very few people who find the Democratic Strip the best region in the game.

Quillanoi is the most democratic, while Siom is the most powerful and I would have to call Brunoi the most economic. Tircqi gets the title of most boring

I joined Cantr Right After the Cromwell incident but my character, John Louts, Amazingly only pictured in one noat on the ground. Heard many rumors of Cromwell as he adjusted to the Area. I agree that Quillinoi is the best place in Cantr. You can do anything in Quillinoi and it is the absolute best place for a business in my opinion. I also had a character overthrow Ryan McConnol. I was new to the game and the character spawned in Tiqui, but he left because he heard people were getting locked up. After I later heard the whole story it was kind of funny OOC that I escaped one of the greatest villans of the time.

I also had a character in the Lad Empire Patrice Stourge. One of the leaders of Naron. IT was Stourge and Zany Dane's loose ruling that shaped Naron and gave it its reputation, but I tried to make Stourge a little more tied to the empire. Zany was very liberal compared to Stourge. I had plans to turn Naron a lot more like LAd with Stourge, but then my stupid computer practicly exploded and I lost all my character sdue to inactivity. I was glad to see Stourge appear in at least one of the reports by Thomas (forget his last name).

Another one of my "before" characters was Sandra Beeches. She is the author of one of those maps in the area. (Most of my characters have a copy of it) I have a feeling that Sandra would have been the next heir to seatown forest after Maily Yumms and Donna Trent. I was sad when that character died somewhere in Krif Hills (still plotting out the area).

I believe Sandra Beeches died in Drojf. It was a sad day, and she was mourned by at least a couple of characters. I don't think many there knew her very well.

As for Naron.....well, Stourge might roll over in her grave if she saw it now. But knowing now what plans she might have had had she lived, I think I'm glad she died. >:) We had another sad death there recently. Not known outside of Naron, so I won't divulge the name here.

Thomas Hobbes.

She, and Zany, are both recorded for all time in the Hobbes Encyclopedia, all versions, which was introduced just prior to his (controversial) departure. It has since developed drastically.

I associate Zany Dane to the stability of Naron.

Sorry about that whole killing Richard thing! It was all a part of my character development...sadly that was snuffed out early on in its career to.

Yes Zany Dane was the idle of Naron which has to do with the conflicting views between them. I still wish I had my old character I only like maybe 2 of my newer ones.

Stupid computer.

Do you mean Idol?
