I don't know what you're talking about, "a lot of good RPers are quitting..." Since when? Many quit due to outside problems; work, school, friends, etc...not due to cantr usually. Names?

I voted "a little boring" for several reasons.
First, because the only other option was "cantr's the BEST".
The best what? Thing ever? Nah. That'd be a Nutella/Marshmallow Fluff sandwich. The best computer game? Probably.
Second, because some places are just chock-full of stupid and/or annoying characters.
Third, because the cantr world has gotten so much more advanced in the two years I've been playing, a lot of the rough spots have been ironed out, even in relatively new areas like K-island. One of my characters is so bored with life there that they're leaving completely for somewhere more exciting.
Fourth, it tends quickly to draw up every available instant of free time I give it. Which is cool, and all--I like being addicted as much as the next guy. But when my grades/relationships start to suffer, I gotta back off. I deleted my five most boring characters today in an effort to simplify. I was going to quit completely, as much as I love the game (which is a lot), I thought maybe the time had come to let go, as so many older players have done. I couldn't go through with it, though.
Fifth, I feel like there's a severe lack of interesting characters these days. Not unusual or ostentatiously weird characters, mind you--those are a dime a dozen. I mean actual interesting characters. A lot of people are either imitations of older, better characters, or indistinguishable from their players' other characters, or just another face in the crowd. I know, I know, real life is like that too, but there's 6 billion people there and only a few thousand here.
Sixth, ...I don't really have a sixth. I just wanted to let you know I could count to six.
Oh, and not thinking cantr's the greatest thing EVAR (sic) isn't a crime. Certainly not one worthy of being pickleraped and bleached.
