AC-

If your char's name is Corsair, and you're revealing his plans, it may change people's views OOC, which is trouble. Don't reveal future plans on the forums so specifically ;)

I probably spelt that wrong, but I ment to use the other word for priate, you know, the benevolent equivilent.
The name of the character, location, and even whether he is successful
is not being reveiled to anyone[until everyone rues his name].
(my spelling sucks royaly)

I apologize, you spelt corsair correctly. I thought that you meant that was his name. It's a good choice not to unviel it, until he strikes fear in every victim of his.

p.s. F4U Corsair's also a WWII aircraft used in the Pacific, as well as a Pirate vessel, and pirate synonym, and I thought it was the name of the character. Damn tailors, can't trust em.

Corsair is a marvel character. That's the only reason I know about him. He is a Starjammer..and the father of Scott Summers/Cyclops. Anyway, on to the topic of this thread.

I don't have as much of a lucky man as I do a lucky woman... This character has travelled through three towns in the Baaak area, and looted from the dead there, and not a single living person to stop her. She went into 6 buildings, and came out with good items everytime.

I once found 3300g of iron just sitting in the open. No one around. But that character wasn't so poor or so young to begin with. Still, those resources allowed her to make a bike which makes her work much easier.

But I was just joking, don't worry I know not to break the CR.

I wasn't bragging! You asked what there was, I told you! If you'd found that you'd want to tell someone?!

I wasn't serious, I was just joking, besides my character doesn't like killing others.

Man... I want a pirate character... Yar!!!

I've got one guy who'd join Calico Jack in a heartbeat. Do any of these pirates do recruiting drives?

Why aren't the honorable noble people who risk their lives, without payment nor much gratitude, ever looked up to, who protect all the legitament people? :P Instead everyone goes the easy way for loot and riches.

Guarding is easy. You just get some government with reserves of steel weapons (often dating from back when sabres were good) to employ you as a guard and give you equipment. Then you stand around until someone comits a crime, and whack them until they surrender or die. Repeat until you retire, turn on your masters, or get cut down by invaders. Some guards do more, but...
Actually, due to cantr combat, guards are usually in less danger that the people they 'protect', not more. You can't stand between town-killers and their victems.
Simple piracy (dock, hit everyone in sight, grab everything not nailled down, and undock) is simple too, but at least you have to get the equipment yourself. I'm working on 'advanced piracy'. I think I have a character cut out for it...RP is a real pain for pirates.

Yar!

Advanced piracy! Yes!

I say get a big group of people, attack and commandeer merchant ships, get a big fleet and rule the open seas!

Yar!

Hee hee. Hey, I have 14 other good natured, more or less civilized characters. That number 15 spot is my catharsis. I don't necessarily want to make it a simple moron, slashy slashy bad guy. But hey! Totally unrestrained by all laws, no one to answer to? Feared on both land and sea? Love 'em or hate 'em, these bad guy characters are what make Cantr interesting.

Um... Not to interfere with your joy, but I know their was a recent post saying that it is impossible to board a moving ship. I don't think merchants spend much time parked at sea.

Big group of people would be a help, though.
