Is there, or will there be in the future, a way to either delete an account or change the username?

I made an account but my phone's autocomplete turned the username I typed into one of my email addresses - not the one associated with the account, a different one.

Got caught up last few days. Will be getting to those changes soon, as well as working out the report function for entries that should not be posted.

Having a very eventfull day, with a good fraction of my fellows. Writing some of the stories up, for unprivating in a few days. Kind of hope there's a good batch out there as well, waiting for the same moment.

It is back up again, apparently a file didn't get uploaded properly the first time.

New updates though!

  • Account Editing now available (only email address atm)
  • Added ability to report stories for violations/other issues
  • Better ability to edit character/story information

Upcoming:
  • Personal Character notes (ie. A place to update character information that might be helpful to you for RP purposes)
  • Cantr Calculator making a comeback
  • Description/Personality generator
  • And more!

Had a glance through these last night. Getting a little collection of characters, but less than I expected and not a lot of stories yet. I've registered now and I'll be putting up a few of mine, though most of them haven't gotten up to anything all that exciting.

Oh, and any thoughts on the possibility of some kind of thumbs up system for readers to use while browsing the stories?

I think that 'like' system won't be needed. This isn't facebook, nor is it a book-writing website (like Wattpad).

But first things first - is this allowed? I mean, it has potential to reveal a lot of in-game information. There's a reason why we aren't allowed to talk about too much in-game stuff in the Cantr forums.... :?

There's already a button to report anything that gives away the wrong kind of information.

I've been working on the story of one of my originals. I've read some of the old turn reports to refresh my memory and am up to day 1050 :D Been an entertaining way to spend some free time and realise how oblivious my char was. Hopefully the next 1000 days keep her tale interesting.

There are some nice stories on here already. Keep it up guys.

I'll be sharing Dory Agony's tale of the slave factory, Anno Munszajn's escape from prison in a Polish metropolis, maybe some of Owen Love's crazy antics, a bit of Earl Scott and his disguise of Madame du Pont (he was basically a black Owen Love with buffalo and a disguise instead of bicycles and lost damsels), a few anecdotes by the witch of the wolves Spice, Naomi Threeways plunge from the Zuzi church, a bit of Eliya M.'s sailing together with the famous captain Pharap Jahrot, fat and disgusting Pierre Anton might tell a story if he's not too busy eating and cuddling with corpses, and the reformed thief Courage Remle of Baaak Hills West will have a little love story. If I can find it in my logs, I'll post weird stuff Mu Mu did. I think she did stupid attempts at anime magic lol. Sleepy Shai leader Kayla Perry's ex-girlfriend will join us for a chat on the Swedish days of Teregotha island. I'll also write about the recent stroke one of my characters suffered.

I can't wait. Just gotta find the time.
Read about my characters by following this link.

A liking feature could be nice. As could a flashy *Character has a new story/updated* since last login, or reading. As it is, it's click click click open in tabs, then close close close em all. Not a criticism to the writers, I'm loving the stories up so far, just a little sad seeing a new char and aww, it's empty.

I still hope we can get a way to like stories. Especially as more stories start appearing, if I saw one that was just that good, or well written, I'd want to tell the author that yes, I read and enjoyed it. (Coventins's story must have taken some effort and has all those details about ancient Cantrian history, and I just read one about Claire I'd give two thumbs up to if the site would let me. Three, if I could grow an extra arm. :P

A way to comment would be even better, but I can see that leading to problems and being a headache to police for ongoing event stuff.

And agreed as week that something like a 'date last updated', or a section for new or recently updated chars is going to be needed. Clicking through them now is one thing, but what about when there's two hundred of them up there?
