By the way, Thomas, is Donna even still alive? Just a yes or no answer will do. No specifics.

Because Gregar Mendal was originally one of Craktar's elite guard. He also took James Whitmore under his wing as well. I still trying to figure out how Gregar figured out that James was a spy and working for the Smoke Jaquars long before Donna found out because Periwinkle got suspcious of all the outside people that James was contacting.

Hello, hello!
Sorry I didn't post earlier, but I didn't get the activation key email and had to re-register with this name ... grrr.
I had the feeling that I better check on the old Cantr stompin' grounds before too long. I wanted to see how things were going and all the changes that would have had to occurred. I was actually surprised to see all the new locations and all the animals. When I left, there were still just discussions about animals and what people would like to see. Now, there are bunches of things just hanging out at each location.
I was cracking up when I was reading some of the posts on this board. The "Infamous/Famous" thread brought back some fond memories of the old days. I forgot all about Craktar's phase as a vampire. That had to be absolutely the funniest period in my Cantr history. Honestly, the whole point of that was a weeding process to get rid of inactives, and then I accidentally grabbed some not-so-inactives that I had already beat enough it was pointless to let them free. I do believe Craktar let a woman free once, but the rest he just "ate." Muwhahahaha. God, those were hilarious times. And everyone thought Maynard was dead, when really, Craktar was feeding him while he was hibernating. I just remember people actually getting mad at me for that, which made it all the more fun. I remember after Craktar had been grabbing people for a handful of days, he came out and there were only like 10 people standing around the city center at Krif. I just laughed and took Craktar back inside without grabbing anyone. Then there was that one time when he actually saw people leave, so he grabbed one off the path. I imagine that had to be disappointing.
And then there was old Alexi. Man, I really miss playing that character. The saddest part of it all was that he was really trying to start focusing on the domestic issues (not that free food and work for the people wasn't already huge) and stop focusing on conquering people when it all started to go down hill for me. Alexi really wouldn't have minded rubbing the Aleinz Hills people's dead bodies in the dirt, but, if I remember correctly, Alexi had sent an ambassador to them that got turned away. The Empire was really strong, and really large. It had the power to do so much, so quickly. I miss that.
I'm glad to see I'm not forgotten. I hear Mikey had some trouble with some Yahoo! group conspiracy or something. What a freaking moron. I told you guys he was a crap-face, but no one listened to me. I could tell he would be trouble because of the way he aruged over the most pointless things ever. Of course, I did, too, but someone has to stand up for the right. Hahahahahaha ....
Good ol' Thomas, how is Germany treating you these days?

Well, actually, I won't be around for all that long. I'll probably play for the next couple of weeks (if people stop killing my characters for something they didn't do) ... but I'm being deployed with the military to Iraq. Blah ... I'm not actually in the military, I just work for them. The money's good, but I don't think I'll have the time to check on Cantr while I'm gone. So you guys better get all the Cliff you can handle in the next few weeks.

Yeah, I've been out since last May. Got the BA and have been sitting around on my butt for a really long time. I've been perpretually waiting for the State Department to come knocking, but I'm tired of not making lots of money, so I figured a 6 month tour in Iraq would alleviate that. Of course, I'll find out my scores from my State Dept. stuff the week before I leave and they'll probably be like, "oh, you did awesome," but I won't be able to do anything about it until I come back. Bastards!
I think I was a senior the majority of the time I was playing this, because I was writing that thesis thingy around the same time as Lad. was becoming huge. I couldn't decide which one needed my time more ... hehe.
