I play through most things, and some of my chars are quite bad flirts..(?) and do get themselves into all sorts of situations, I don't actively go looking for it like the just for sex characters, but if it happens I'll RP it. There are some really talented RPer's that do this.. and it's hardly ever mentioned on here, I wish I could post some of it... but at risk of having yet more posts deleted.. I won't.

Now what I WOULD like to see. Dark romance. That's something different. For instance, someone falling in love with a 'bad' character, even with all the terrible things they do. Perhaps they'd try to make them a better person? Or perhaps darker, they'd try to follow the same path to please said partner. I'm sure it's happened before, but I haven't actually met any 'bad' characters so I wouldn't know.

I remember a very serious example of this, and my character was highly involved. Perhaps later I can post it. It's from RL years ago.

One of my chars have found an old note in her inventory thus I remembered a very strange relationship between two town guards. Guy was obsessed with combats, also he was keen to make a duel with knives.( who bleeds first loses the game) . Despite of his gore habits he was just an efficent fighter and he had lost his genital parts in a war so he was incapable to share that kind of intimacy. They had a kind of love & hate relationship for a while and she kept him even he was not a very nice person. After a while he died alone in a chamber. One day she found some notes and learned that he was planning to kill her, he was blaming her for death of his apprentice even she had nothing to do with that. Funny thing is she had someone nice showing attention to her but she could never have real feelings for him.
This was one of the darkest love stories I have seen in Cantr.
In this thread I also want to remember and honor memory of most loving and dedicated romantic character Arenti Trueheart, I still miss him at times like a real brother.
