Well, one of my characters have sex with another in a public place. We play it all by whispers but I made a mistake writing and one of my dialogs go to the general chat. We explain it and keep playing the scene.

Public sex is potentially sex in front of minors. This is not difficult.

You do have to make some inferences that are not spelled out in the wiki. If you have trouble communicating with PD members in your native language, they will get help from translators. It does not take three years to ask a question.

Nobody who agrees to play by the rules is threatened with a ban. There are good reasons why PD cases are not discussed in public forums. Not least because PD members, who are players too, are required to respect the privacy of all players and cannot defend themselves publicly against this type of accusation.

I can give my word that Syrech never was contact this way, he is telling false acusations about the PD.
I know that because, as you know, all the PD has access. But it's unfair because the other player doesn't have access and it can't be put in public.

I was alluding to the response to Vega's initial post, in which she communicates a perceived problem with the manner in which the rules are displayed, and your reply seemingly dismissing her concern, which is right here in public for everyone to see. You did quote her post in your reply.

You are right, I didn't take it personally, I just want to talk like a player for a time, because I have feelings and I could feel insulted too
But I know I renunced to that right when I entered to the PD, and I don't comply.

I will talk as a staff: It's not allowed to talk about cases of the PD in public forums, any further coment about the case could be moderate.(It's off topic too)

Returning to the topic: A possible solution could be open a threat to answer the doubts about the rules (you already can do that, but this way it will be all together so the future players could take them as a reference).
Larger rules in the wiki will be something negative (more letters, less readers).
And always having in mind that it will be to clarify the rules, not to discuss or change them.

I just want to say: Please, write the rules, explain and update the new cases, and put a link in the main page saying: "These are the rules, read it!" (it's just a suggestion)

Don't tell that it's common sense to know that there are children playing and "we have to protect them" because all characters in cantr are described like man/woman about 20 years old. It's not my duty to know who is minor or adult in game or behind the character.

Don't assume that everybody read the forum. I don't read it, again, it's not my obligation, it's recommended, but not an obligation.

Don't assume that everybody speak or learn english. I hardly do.

Finally, I don't want to break the rules (or change it), argue or anything like that but I can't obey the rules if I don't know it. And I want to precise that anybody of my messages want to be agressive, my apologises if they are.

That is an excellent article, Seko. I'd never seen it before. How can we make it more easy to find?

And, as I've been pointed a moment ago, there is a link to the wiki in the player's page, but not one directly to the rules. And when they are developed, as NSC, they are in the forum, (that -we- are all here, but we are not supposed to need to be here) and most of the time in English.
That make them hard to find or even inaccesible to some players.

In fact, the only way to get to the actual server-stored rules is through the new account creation page. As a rule, wiki is subject to change by the user base, which means that what is displayed in a wiki should never be taken as gospel. It has been said by some here that the rules section is only editable by the staff. That should be stated explicitly, and it should also be stated explicitly that the rules in the wiki are the official rules. It is also absolutely essentiall that the rules stated in the wiki are exactly the same in all languages.

Maybe for most of you they are yet, but to me, rules of the game and forum (yes, rules of the forum too) are not so clear.

This is just slightly off-topic, but I just wanted to bring up something.

I remember an old thread (can't find it now D:) that suggested that there be a small line of text at the bottom of the people page that said something along the lines of, "One or more of these characters is played by a minor." whenever there were characters played by registered minors in the area.

Of course, there were concerns that players would lie about their age, and there's nothing that can be done about that without requiring some legal form of identification like a credit card or driver's license or Social Security Number, as well as concerns about people figuring out who plays who. I seem to remember Doug arguing against it in favor of preserving the anonymity of underage players.

But still, having this line of text would put more responsibility on the player in regards to whether or not to RP public sex.

We have had discussions in GAB about how to make the rules more clear and accessible. Anyone who feel they are capable and willing to help develop the game and its surroundings are welcome to apply for a staff position. At the moment we are kind of short of native English speakers on staff, maybe you could make an effort and write the rules more clearly and in a format that can easily be translated to 17 languages?

Could be either. Anyone in staff could work on it, but it would have to pass through GAB before becoming official.

I could easily come off with examples of common CRBs but my problem is I hardly ever write shortly. Also, I'm not a native speaker.
