I have to agree about Bessie (can't recall Chaunceys description). It's rare to see an old woman who actually looks old.

Chauncey had this thing that his teeth made a hissing sound when he says the letter s. Makes me think of the old guy in Family Guy.

That totally ruined my vision of Chauncey.
On topic. I usually have "young man/woman" in my descriptions for newspawns. I remove that when they hit the 40's or so. A few of my chars are in their seventies, and they have aged (all but one).

Re: To age or not to age?
My few characters are still pretty young, but I've been enjoying the description feature quite a lot. I do find it strange that players who spend so much time getting their personalities just so and keeping their descriptions of attire in meticulous shape don't notice that their character is 'very old' now and likely doesn't have the same vibrant red hair or manly physique that they had when they were younger. Each to their own, of course. Personally I'm looking forward to my characters turning grey, losing their hair, wrinkling, stooping, shaking, shuffling and slowing down as they age.
Then again, this might be because right now, my characters are young, inexperienced, untrained, powerless and full of the bravado and ambition of youth ... so I'm looking forward, in addition to RPing the physical aspects of age, to being able to play older, wiser, established, measured and connected characters as or if any of them grow up.
