I can't help but notice none of my characters are near anyone on the list. I must be attracted to simmers.

Echoman, I think I know one of them, so I'm kind of in the same boat as you.

Anonymous for another player:
1. Dung Meat - so very consistent, totally amusing, incredibly played.
2. Wonder - hilarious, annoying, rational in his irrationality.
3. Loki - love the bucket and the demeanor.
4. Sylvie Dill - consitently played, well played
5. Susan - truly played to her past and character
6. Dell (Naedel Blackrock) - instils fear at a glance
7. Flumini - deceased, so very emotional, took mine on a roller coaster ride.
8. Yazz- bringing so much progress to towns
9. Stefan Farmer - building community with deeds not personality
10. Arenti Truehart - deceased, well played grand old gentleman, able to banter and motivate a town
Honourable mentions to: Nader, Harvey Spats, General Germ Serga (deceased) for the way they run the towns. Acorn, Mambe Tambo, WeeMee, Becker, Versry, Fiona, Tru, Omi, all the Alacards (and Alucards), Ari, Dragonlord (deceased), Lexi Mal, the vigilante pirates who roleplay so well - no you can't have my shoes, the Brotherhood crew and the Roadhugger crew.

It's been a hard work to make this list. And put the order. Many of you deserve more, but well... this is all I can do.
1. Marlie Sunrise (you're absolutely wonderful and complex)
2. Oz, formerly from PDS (an amazing mind, bringing light to my char's darkness)
3. Iron McNeil (so consistent, even in your evolution. Makes RPing a pleasure you can never get enough of)
4. Clementine Deschain (your troubled mind is so hard to deal with... but our chars had some of the funniest and deepest moments)
5. Gabe Fisher (always an unexpected spark, love your sense of humour)
6. Brad Sidewinder (you prove that the evolution of a character can be very believable)
7. Tom Burger (so fun being around you, always something new and stunning in your head. You make me laugh out loud. Love your stories)
8. Desmond, formerly from Naron (amazing emotes, pity you're so sleepy lately)
9. Saida (just wonderful)
10. Latia Deallí (one of the funniest characters I've ever meet, my char is alive just for you)
Special mentions:
Ellaria in Tircqi (wonderful emotes)
Pachanga (hmm... interesting)
Bruce McInnis (One can't help but love you)
Echo of Nraam -deceased- (your single-word comments, always with the perfect timing. I will miss you)
Lee Holloway (my char met you briefly, but I could see something within you)
Ianto Sidewinder -deceased- (your death left a hole in my char's life. Even if you were very sleepy... your simple presence was enough)
Fighter -deceased- (the daughter my char and her husband would have liked to have)
Geoff O'Hara -deceased- (and your bagpipes... I still smile when I think of you)
Hamsters is nice. ~Kaylee, Firefly

I can't just pick ten.
Pretty much all he people I have had chars interact with have some merit.
I could pick ten that irritated the f**k out of me, but that would be pretty dismal, even for me. On top of that... it would 'out' me for certain, if I chose either.

Re: Top 100 Cantr Characters - 2011 Edition
Seeing some of mine on two different peoples' lists, and in the higher regions of their lists too, well damn... what can I say but thanks - ironically those chars are, much like my RL self, both liked by many and hated with a passion by many other chars
Masterkat, not looking to out any of yours and honestly, not fishing for information, but based on a post of yours in another thread that I read before coming to this thread, I was actually suspecting you had a char near a certain paranoid nutcase of mine :p
And that while that post didn't even give any specifics about any chars or situations, just how you as player experienced certain thoughts/feelings.
Anyhow, on to my own little list, and yeah, to those around some of my chars it will be a dead-give-away which chars in their small, close-knit communities I'm playing, but it's not like those chars of mine were a big secret anymore anyhow so bite me lol...
1. Anya and Natasha: a shared first, even with Natasha now being quite sleepy, but you both have managed to pull both my char and me as player through some very intense stuff in ways that would be real enough were it not for the fact that those events were typed out text in a roleplayed world; In short, those two are just played real good, with all the depth one could hope for.
2. Dune: The old man isn't sure yet that you won't end up surprising him in a bad way, but you certainly managed to get noticed in a good way. Another well-done character, and one that together with one other in that town managed to make an old man's spark for survival and building something re-ignite.
3. Needa: While there's less interaction, the old man did feel strongly about you choosing to stay, and trying to fit in.
Can't quite put my finger on it as player, but from the get-go there was just something about you that the old man felt good about.
4. Kellane: You managed to get another old man all fired up and productive again, at a time when he was getting a feeling that his business ideas and his town were slowly but surely going down the drain.
The most active and consistent character to have settled in that place since a long time, well, most active and consistent after a certain old man of course :p
5. Pachanga: Some of my chars hate your guts, some like you, some aren't sure what to make of you as they only heard you on the radio or only saw you briefly.
As player, I'm also having very mixed feelings about listing you, but there's definitely consistency and a style of play that can't be denied.
6. Leilani: Two of my chars got to know you, and both were impressed; One more than the other, and that one got to go through some pretty intense stuff courtesy of a bit of shared history :p
And I'd also have to add you as one of the least back-stabby greedy leadership-types that any of my chars know, except of course for my own leadership-type characters :p
7. Test: While it may appear differently, you definitely made an impression on one of my chars, unfortunately he couldn't really get into it because he had a lot going on - and on top of that as player I just wasn't sure how to have him act.
8. Marian and Jayde: Hard to list seperately, as most of my experience with you two involves both of you being there at once.
Well-played, and interactions have always been good, even when at some point there was some drama around you two - but you both remained consistent and enjoyable company.
9. Eurytion: Really you should be higher on this list, but with the number of competitors, I'm working down the list by both ammount of interaction and most recent interaction, as well as a few other more vague criteria.
In any case, a few characters of mine have been somehow involved with you over the years.
Some of those would love to slowly insert your skull into a small animal's rear end, at least one of my chars would tae a bullit for you, if Cantr had guns, and two others are/were somewhere between neutral towards you and liking you.
At times reading notes or events by your hand makes me want to go out and puch some random passer-by because of a certain thing with grammar/logic, but you're definitely on my list of most consistent and fleshed-out chars.
10. Gwen: One of two newspawns who were so lively and energetic that they immediately got my char's attention.
Those two newspawns happened at different times, in different places, and one died some years before the other spawned, but both had been energetic and equally pleasant, around my char.
My char even thinks that the second one, who spawned in the place where the first one actually died, might have inherited some of the first spawn's spirit :p
There are a few others that I could list, but really, this is already a top-10 of my own that I could live with for now.
And those others would out chars of mine which aren't public knowledge yet,

About the paranoid one...it took me so long to get that whole situation figured out! I mean, the thought crossed my mind that it might be the case a time or two, but I'd always dismissed it quickly after because he even had me believing things were as real as he thinks they are. And her, too, though maybe she's just been too preoccupied to see something like that coming from so far away. She's still not completely sure of anything(more like she doesn't want to be sure), but she's feeling pretty horrible that she let him go at least ten years like that without trying to get to the bottom of how odd he was acting at certain times. And, well...even though I'm being as vague as I possibly can, I still might be going into too much detail, so I'll be prepared to edit this if I'm asked to, but, anyway, and this is coming from someone with a psychology degree, I'm thoroughly impressed. He's a textbook case with most symptoms and the possibility for the others, but it was done so subtly and was developed over time in such a way that it took a good six months for me to piece everything together. And those six months being directly after I got finished studying that sort of thing full time for the past four years. Genius. I'm thrilled to see what will come of it.
EDIT: Now I'm really not sure again...

...Okay, I'll stop being lazy now and update the list for those last few people. It'll be up soon. And for those ones that have two characters listed in one space...I'm not quite sure how I'll list those, but I'll figure out something that will be fair enough.
