Re: Cantr II T-shirts
I like the big smile should be on the back. It's just so damn friendly. I dont think the you can only hit me once a day thing should go. Though make your own history is good. I will be moving to a large college town. 4 good size
schools in a city smaller then 35 thousand. So I am sure I can find more then a couple people to play it given time. Also google ads may help but I think the tshirt thing will be a big help as well as keeping the game up and running of course.

I only wear black/gray, but I'd buy one just for the sake of it. I could wear it on days I'm positive I won't leave the house.

Re: Cantr II T-shirts
I stick to suits myself for work but at home its jeans and tshirts the strangest the better. Though I guess I could where it when i go to the bar. My suits freak people out..Custom made 50's style dont ask how much that costs me. off topic? Yes I think so. Proud? yes.
Re: Cantr II T-shirts
I would never play a game I saw on someone's T-Shirt..
That said... I would wear anything if the sponsorship money was right, as long as I didn;t regard the message as criminal or immoral.
Perhaps a dollar from every shirt should be used to sponsor me to wear my free one?

I wouldn't buy a shirt no. But because I already give enough money to Cantr. Enough is enough lol.

Re: Cantr II T-shirts
I am against the idea of cantr staff producing cantr tshirts and selling it for money. There should be templates (by that I mean text and/or images) that anyone anywhere in the world could use to have a custom tshirt made. Because you see: notsure wants white with green letters, Diego wants Cantr green, Comey and Echoman want black.
But these ideas are fun.
Here's something I came up with:

But for marketing I think it should be simply a green tshirt with "cantr.net" on it in the usual cantr font.

Re: Cantr II T-shirts
Another idea from a past thread:
By the way, I think it would be best to have the words in orange, like Cantr's links (particularly if the shirts come in different colors) Any objections to that?
By the way, all of the images would have to be created by us or Cantr.
He is (or "They are") walking at your speed, ahead of you, facing the direction you are going.

Re: Cantr II T-shirts
Shirt suggestions all made me laugh.
And to add to the diversity of colour choices, I would be perfectly content with white and Cantr-green lettering.
But until they actually start getting produced (assuming they do).... -goes to find a T-shirt and Sharpie-
OffT:
Announcer says: "And now we have Harriet Tique in the red corner wearing the white trunks and tank top! She's a professional fighter from Dove Forest on Aki Island known for her extreme strength and extreme fighting capabilities."
Crowd says: "*cheers boisterously*"
You see the camera zoom in on Harriet Tique and her coaches.
Coach 1 says: "*yells something indistinguishable to the camera*"
Harriet Tique says: "*looks bored*"
You see the camera zoom out from Harriet Tique and back onto the physique of the boxing ring.
Announcer says: "And now, in the blue corner wearing the green trunks. He's a monster of a man, the master of endurance and longevity. He comes from Zuzi on Cantr Island where he lives with his beautiful wife. And painted on him tonight is a green smiley face, the international Cantr logo, which was done by GoldenPalace.com. He's the one, the only, Ariochus!"
You see the camera zoom in on Ariochus and his coaches.
Crowd says: "*cheers even more loudly and passionately*"
Random fangirl (a woman in her twenties) says: "*screams* I LOVE YOU ARIOCHUS!"
Coach 2 says: "*yells something indistinguishable to the camera*"
You see the camera zoom out from Ariochus and back onto the physique of the boxing ring.
Announcer says: "Now....round one. FIGHT! *dings the bell*"
You see Harriet Tique expertly attack Ariochus using a bare fist.
You see Ariochus expertly attack Fin Blight using a bare fist.
Harriet Tique says: "*dodges* Missed!"
You hear the bell ring for the end of the round.
Announcer says: "Round two. FIGHT! *dings the bell again*"
Crowd says: "*chanting* FIGHT. FIGHT. FIGHT. FIGHT."
Harriet Tique says: "I can't fight you anymore--I hit you once already today."
Crowd says: "(OOC: OMFG...RP IT YOU MORON!)"
SMRTTOT: I got stuck on where to go after that. But I think the last or second-to-last line would be funny to have on a T-shirt.

A tshirt would also keep the game on. I remember Doug talked about now dipping into the savings to keep it on. Even Cantr Costs money to run as small as it is.

Well, I'm glad that there at least is a savings.

That's not a good plan though. Plus, with more money, Cantr could do stuff like Google Adwords, which I've been looking into. Since February 2009, something like 200 people listed Google as the way they found Cantr (of the 1/5th or so of people who put a reference). In fact, one person put they found it from a Google text ad this last August...I don't know who put that ad up.
Back on topic, I'm leaning toward going with a black shirt and green lettering. With black it at least has a color, and it matches basically with anything, like a green smiley face. Although I like green, it wouldn't be the same green as the Cantr smile or as Cantr.

Re: Cantr II T-shirts
Actually, now that I compare prices, black or any color is the same. White is significantly cheaper.
