Even though it's apparently not that easy to just ban someone completely , I do agree (as Chase put it) that If they are legitimately breaking a set of clear cut rules (whether they read them or not), - then they're breaking this set of CLEAR rules openly while now they can say it's unclear or that they can't find it.

Well, I agree with what Seko said, only because I know from experience, there will always be someone to do something in a new way that hasn't been thought of before. This is how we learned in the first place what we DO and DO NOT like as our rules, someone had to do something.

But so what, you revise it occasionally. Big deal. I say someone comes up with a list of what should be against the rules (like pd if they have time) and the actual PD or whatnot can chose from that/take advice on additional rules the general public wants to see put in.

Voted for clarification of rules in print and available to players.

I think that the CR rules have been explained relatively clear. To think that it needs to be written down in a better location, and defined in much more detail, sounds to me like just a bunch of cry baby crap. I have read the CR over the past 10 years and found it obvious for almost all situations. And if you are unsure, you can always contact PD just to be sure. All people are looking for is a reason to say "it's not written down so I can do it"

And the problem with writing it down so they stop whining about it not being clearly written down is..? I see a solution. Less whining.

I don't see the point of being against having the rules clearly defined. It's not like adding one more link to the home page, or one more topic to the forum, could negatively affect any of us. Don't wanna see it? Then don't click it

There is more reason to putting it up then that, Mack.

And as Naru said, what's the point to being against this? O.o

Are you one of those that I've mentioned that likes to claim "bad spirit of the CR" and try tricking people into RPing by your standards under the guise of a broken rule that isn't actually there? And I mean actual rules that aren't there.

Do you know how many people AREN'T on the forum? Do you know how many people can't contact PD and/or don't know how? Not many people would think to contact a department over a question of rule breaking, especially if they are new. Most people would assume other players would have more then their own best interests in mind.

Dudel, if people don't know how to contact PD it means they've not read the Game Rules. And if they've not read the Game Rules at this point, why would they read more ramblings about the CR?

Most of the people that break the CR are not breaking because the rule is unclear. They are breaking it because they either want to, or don't care.

If someone wants to clarify the CR, then fine. But it should be a very low priority for the GAB, given the actual problems the game has.

I wasn't saying "Get to it now" O.O

XD

Put it on the "to-do list"... at the bottom.

And my actual problem is people not on GAC claiming rule breaking when it isn't... and people don't know better and/or can't/don't check.
