So yes, it is Cantr's problem.

Not entirely true. It's emailing death reports (sob, my poor starving newspawn), so it must be working for some things.

It's working for everything. This is a guarantee.

Just like everything on the forum that's supposed to be mailed out works? Yeah, okay. Minus five for suddenly not getting notifications where once I did. And it's been probably close to a year since I haven't got one.

I get mine, but I wasn't talking about the forum, we're talking about game notifications, which come from a different server entirely.

I know what you were talking about. I was just being a bitch, and pointing out how sometimes cantr things, regardless of server, get screwed up for some people, even if it works for the vast majority, and its not always the person's fault.

Yes, that's true. There are isolated incidents, like lost turns, etc, but there's no way of knowing where in the pipe these things are getting lost, so I don't think it's quite fair to blame Cantr without examine all the other potential causes.

Cantr's like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get.

I have never had a problem getting death reports/emails from cantr. I haven't requested a day report in quite some time though.

Personally I will just send my character on their way if I feel they are not working out for me. This provides a benefit as maybe you will stumble into a town or a place that gives you renewed interest?

Very true. Do you at least have an event generated in a log file when mail is created & sent? Just wondering, because I get these when rev does a mailout.. at least then you can narrow down where the issue is (before/after the mail is generated).
