Not sure if I missed something... but all images should be uploaded rather than externally linked, shouldn't they?

Well yeah but it gives you the <img="whatever"> to then use to put in the note so the HTML is still there.

Dudel, tell me how do you imagine inserting images to the notes? img tag is the easiest way.
