733-5: ******** says: "This man killed of Krif`s old
Counsil, as well as the Counsil of Drojf, leaders in the Seatown area,
and also innocent people all across the region. Everyone wants him
dead, and today would be as good a day as any. He is setting up some
very nasty things in this region, and I will be more than happy to
detail these things. If you care about your friends and your homes,
then help kill him."

The only sentance in this paragraph that is true is that "everyone wants him dead" and only if you take that to just mean a bunch of people, Mailly is going to be very surprised very soon, Maynard isn't as unpopular as she seemed to think. If he was, don't you think the Krif council would have killed him by now? It's not like Maynard didn't give them what they would have needed to do so.

Breakdown is: Craktar killed Krif's council while Maynard slept, Maynard didn't touch them. The Drojf council ran like rabbits when he gave them the ultimadum when he decided to add Drojf to Krif's territory, he never had a chance to hit, much less kill them. Seatown doesn't have any current leaders to kill, and the first time Maynard was Emperor he disolved the empire before he got to Seatown. And he set up a nasty thing or two, but nothing that would affect the K/D/S region unless he was killed.

You see...the point of all those spys was to know the truth, that's why Mailly was so misinformed, she didn't take the nessacary steps to get her own info, she relied on rumours, the words of traitors, and people who didn't know anything about Maynard but just hated him...but none of it matters now...all I wonder about now is how long Mailly has to live, what's going to get her into trouble is not that she killed Maynard, but the reasons she stated for doing so, because the people that will care about the news know the truth.

Some of Maynard's notes confirm Maily's accusations, some raise more questions, and some indicate that Maynard and Maily were both being mislead.

Most of my characters like her just fine.

Actually, ALL of my characters like her. The one that wouldn't if he knew about her recent actions hasn't found out about said actions yet.

And I've decided that this tapestry will NOT appear in-game, as cool as it is, for several reasons:
1) it would reveal my character, something I'd rather not do
2) Everyone's seen it anyway
3) It might cause more trouble than the humour is worth

My char believes both Maily and Maynard were being misled

Hopefully he'll get a chance to talk *glares* before someone tries to cut him down, though. Might get to explain a few things.

And from my recollection of KDS history, Jerry's correct and Maily's info was just plain wrong.

Don't get me wrong, I think neither of them was all sunshine and bunnies; both have/had things about them that they'd rather not be made public, but hey. Comes with the job, eh?

You could offer that anyone who wants to put in the game can.

That way it could be anyone who put it in or you could do it yourself and be sneaky that way.

I can't put it in as my characters. While my characters know that there is something odd in the region in general they don't know what it is and would not be surprised by any plot that was mentioned. Actaully most of the chracters in the region may be like that. Everyone knows that there is conflicting reports about everything and only know what they have seen.

It would be come first come first serve after you offered it.

Of course they could just as easily make there own alternatate version or use it for something different just the same.

And while we have seen it. Future generations will not buried in the forum.

I guarantee that nothing in what was found on Maynard's body confirms anything that Mailly said. But yes, most of them raise more questions. Funny thing is that before Maynard got to the forest the last time he firmly believed that Alicia Scarlet was behind things, it's other people that actually first pointed at Mailly, but Maynard became convenced of Mailly's guilt after her people in the forest couldn't get a simple story straight. And because Maynard got cut down so quick alot of info and ideas were lost because no record was made of them, like Maynard's idea that Anderton and Drojf may have had something to do with things...because the only winner in a war between Krif and Seatown forest would be Drojf.

So what did happen to him? Rot away in a cell? I haven't known Drojf to execute someone.

He was released.

One of my characters found a note in the (empty) building he had been kept in, along with that Claudia girl or whatever. He gave a copy to Nessa Allire and was going to give it to Maily, but he had to leave town before he could do so. Pity.

yeah, that woman, thats another reason why Maynard is so sure Brian wasn't killed, Valentine Wiggins came back to Krif, but the other woman who was so concerned about Brian disappeared as surly as Brian did. Valentine Wiggins was also involved in the attack on Krif that sopposidly resulted from a weapon being given to a wrong person, on the road to krif hills Valentine helped kill her unarmed "ally" who was trading weapons with her and the other guy because he didn't have one, and then Wiggins told Maynard that they were there to kill him. That guy being given the sabre just speeded up what was already planned to happen. Valentine also claimed to be working for "someone". She escaped though, beat Maynard to the hills by a few hours just before he could administer the killing blow.

She escaped? I thought we'd killed her. Maybe it was Richard we killed.

That note wasn't made by Brian. It was made by someone who was extremely upset at Nessa locking him up. Once the upset man was released, he spread the note inside the building, then left town. The only proof anyone has of Brian being released is never having seen his body. If he was released, wouldn't every character in Drojf have seen it? He's still locked away somewhere with a bad case of the sleeping sickness.
"Who let you in? That door was locked!"

"We let ourselves in. And you need a new door."
