I didn't vote. Since I do not have a character on either side at the moment I would vote for an alliance. Indivually neither side has enough stength to project much lasting power. If they fought they would only succeed in whittling away at each other. Combinied the have enough force for domestic protection and stabilization and a real independent army. The reserves in Naron could be called into play too.

Interesting argument.
Gives us something to fight for. But I dont intend to loose in such a case. And I don't know about the size of the Lad forces, quite big i guess, but I think they'd need to keep a lot of soldiers in Lad itself to prevent the population from revolting.
Life is fun. Play naked with Psycho-Pixie.

This was an easy vote for me lol. I have two fairly high ranking officers in the Empire, so I'm quite loyal. And..........I hate Piers with a passion.......for killing off one my favorite chars.
I also have a guard who has fairly recently escaped Lad's net.

Lad, of course, with the head of the secret service being one of my chars.
Another one, the infamous Black Wolf, is a staunch enemy of Lad, but after his encounter with Piers, he might hate Piers even more than Lad. Raiding Lad and "freeing" Naron was nothing more than an excuse for his robberies.

I vote for Lad. Piers killed two of my characters employers and imprisoned one of my characters. Not to mention he killed one of my sister's more developed charries. Ah well.
Plus, I have a few people in the Lad realms I'd like to see continue living. Piers random killing would simply make them dead too.
