The childish, mute girl that arrived in a coastal town some years ago! Great rp, hope you stay active!

Rain?

I wouldn't describe her as childish. Must be someone else.

I always thought she was kinda childish. How would you describe her?

Tripkan: I'd gathered that based on what I'd heard from your char.

But I'm glad you enjoy my char's smart-allecky remarks and failed attempts at charming people and being tough and whatnot.
Honestly, my char has become a lot more fun to play since I've gotten to know your char. So I'm throwing praise right back at your char, Tripkan.

Doing as well as an illiterate mute character can possibly do given her circumstances. I haven't felt she's lacking in intelligence.

I just did a search for Lucretia because I was curious who played her, and I found she'd actually been mentioned several times...in the Irritating Chars thread. :D I'm not sure what the situation was that led to that, but, I felt she deserved some recognition here too. She doesn't spam posts in big flashy paragraphs or anything ( ), but the char is played in a consistent way, and one of the better and more motivated/motivating leader types I've run across in this game.

^ As often, that depends on the point of view.

I also think Lucretia is played very consistetly and she never annoyed the two of my characters I've encountered her with.

Well, Lucretia annoyed my char as hell. I'm not saying she was badly played, but neither my char, nor myself, happened to watch that "motivating leader" Marian talked about. Quite the opposite.

Really?

I always find being given free, awesome stuff just for being active a great motivator. Because then you don't wanna be that guy (or girl) sitting on a pile of stuff and not doing anything with it but sitting in the town square socializing. Makes you want to get out and accomplish something. Sorry you had a different experience. :D

^ Well, maybe she has changed since my char left the town. But I don't think that disparaging someone's work is a great motivator, honestly.

Ahhh Rain. My char watched her spawn and sensed something good going on there
Definitely not childish or mentally challenged, and definitely had some fun with the way the name for the vehicle and stuff got rp'ed.
And later on in Zuzi, with that well.... that was just too brilliant
(yeah, I think I gave away who I was/am/will be for years to come lol)

heheheheheh.... thank you, and I think I know who you are, though I'm a bit tanked up on whiskey right now so names get jumbled up in my mind.
But I'll guess the one that didn't forget the cart

I guess I've been lucky with Tink having met a few more that were pleasant on that island over the years, though yeah, he also ran into quite a few punks and jerks.

An interesting twist to some things that the old man has seen a few times in his life already, and also the future RP possibilities just keep shooting through my brain, ranging from the old man's death to the old man getting much, much older to... well... heck, even his entire world getting sucked into some crazy alternative dimension... haha... but yeah, in a nutshell, the kind of RP possibillities where "anything can happen".
