I post when I have an idea, or something to add to the conversation/topic.
Oh so West, when you add something it is something worth saying, though you've posted 1704 more posts than Surly anyway.
And I like my smilies.
And I also like to GET BACK TO TOPIC!!
Old people:
like Surly said, I'm fine with no ageing. Is there anyone here who actually wants it? Oh and, it seems you can spell ageing "ageing" or "aging". I say ageing to give the "a" the long sound.

Ahhh
I once voiced my characters thoughts on old people in Cantr and he died for it so I am not really sure what to say about old people on here. I might end up locked up with a dude named Bubba or sometin...

You keep your drooling private, CC and Hermi... no-one needs to see it.
Well, I need to... but I shouldn't admit to boosting my ego...
Anyhow, both myself and West are ex-DJs... even if West has post whored 2000 more posts than me in the 3 months before I joined the forum...
As for agreeing with me... it's because I'm just so damn rational! hehe

Umm..I dont think the characters should ever die unless they are killed/starve to death/commit suicide..not just some...oops "natural cause" death. I think some of us put too much work into our characters to want to watch them wither away, where life for them is a span of when we play and for how long. So...no..I don't want my old dusty chars to die...
what little is left of them anyway..

Well, so happy to hear you say that, Slowness. Got us all worried, after that other thread you started.
I agree........let the oldbies live! There's not many of them, and if they're still around, they're likely being played. Years of effort have gone into them. Let not all that hard work be ground to dust under the newbies bare footsies.

Now that my characters are all getting older I have to agree and say let them die by animal attacks and starvation just like everyone else.
Maybe making their skills fall a little might be interesting but let them live. And that is true, if they are very old that means someone is playing them so let them continue to play them.

I disagree.
I say they should die at an old age. Yes, exactly, some people who have older characters are still playing them, which means characters in powerful positions will stay there forever. (Granted a sudden death will cause keys falling into hands of people, but if you didn't want that to happen, you should have handed them over before you got old.) Making no death at old age appeases the player rather than is what's best for the game, I think.
I have older chars and it sucks to think they'll die at old age but...*Shrugs.* Life goes on.
