Well, it's a little late, (thirty days in June, not thirty-one!) but Issue Ten is finally out. Enjoy.

Awesome job.

I loved the 1896 article. Specially cuz one of my charries was mentioned in it by someone else. =D

I enjoy the webzine. Many thanks to the editors and other contributors!

One suggestion.... Perhaps the articles would be better published in blog format. I get tired of staring at the same page every time I log off for several months. Instead of waiting for several articles, the editors could publish each article as soon as it's ready.

I like it as it is. I anticipate each new issue.

Seriously, I'd get nothing done without deadlines!

I agree with Seko. The deadline provides a motivation for authors to work toward. On the other hand, if we had more articles, we could release issues more often...

You can still have deadlines — just stagger them. Or you could have a goal of one post per week. Among all the contributors, that's not difficult, is it? That might be one post per person per month.

How do I submit articles to be considered for approval into the Webzine?

Very first post of this thread. ;)

Sarah wrote:In case any of you have forgotten, we need articles for the webzine.

I would really like to see some more history articles in the future, like the Cantr City story in the current issue. :) Specifically, I think the histories of Ladvicitavoi and the KDS region would be very interesting. . . . But those are just examples. :)

Also, as you can see from the past issues, we're including Cantr-related puzzles. So far we have a lingual puzzle, long division riddles, and a crossword, so more of those would be good, along with anything else, really, as long as it's Cantr-related. Someone could make a Cantr boating puzzle, for example. . . .

We could include more reviews about other sites of possible interest to Cantr players, such as the Unilang article from the first issue.

In the past, we're discussed including short stories (Cantr-related, of course) and funny or well-played Cantr episodes, but we've never actually had any of these things submitted. :) Someone should be the first. . . . :)

And of course, opinion articles on Cantr or the recent changes to Cantr. I know many of you are good at that kind of writing, from skimming some recent forum topics. Or articles like the character development one from the current issue . . . how to roleplay better or something like that.

Hmm, what else. . . . We'll take articles written in languages other than English. :) Is there anything interesting with the Polish area? With as many Polish players as there are, maybe one of you could write an article? It would be nice if it was translated into English along with whatever original language.

Anything else that you can think of would probably be good too, as long as it is related to Cantr, doesn't contain anything that could be easily abused in a CR breach, and isn't about any recent IC events.

If you have anything to submit to the webzine, please send it to webzine@cantr.net, preferably by the end of next week. If you really can't get it in by then, we can take it up until the end of the month, but it would be really nice to be good to go before then.

Oh, they don't use that address anymore. PM UloDeTero and if it's something that needs to be sent as an attachment, he will tell you the address.

Sorry, Hermi. As Seko said, we don't use the mailing list any more. You can send a message via the Contact Cantr II Departments link (but you need to be logged in), or, preferably, just PM Andrew (Drakulya) or myself.
Also, please try to get submissions in as early as possible. If it's something that'll take some time, PM us and let us know how long it'll take.
Thanks

Hey, I'll see if I can write something in Spanish too (like Evelyn), to help the Spanish 'zine to be born :)
