I am very sorry to see Terra go, my character didn't know her that well personally, but I found it a really interesting to see role played.

My character got back a few days ago and reported Terra's custody and Bastien's death... Only to find that people had gone to find them... so much for waiting for him!

I miss Dory. Terra would have given anything but her ring to go back home. Maybe I'll get lucky and have another char there one day, but it just won't be the same.

I've felt this some times already. Had a wonderful time with one character in one town, something happened that made him go away/die. I crave to have another character there and when it happens... It's just not the same. Most of the times I actually end up disliking that town. :/

That has actually happened to me multiple times.

It isn't the same because quite simply, it isn't the same. It is a new character that doesn't have the old characters life, so he/she doesn't have the same friends or sense of community that was enjoyed by the previous character.

I have experienced this quite a few times in playing Cantr, but it has always lead to something better. What is worse though is how quickly everything moves on after your character has died. In a RL vs Cantr time exchange, one day that passes is 1/20 of a year, and in RL terms, that is 18.25 days. It is very possible to have people move on as early as a half year (ten days in game) but still...not always fun to see.

I've got characters who have known someone a year in game and they're still laying flowers by their landmarks like shrines, or setting food aside for them as if they'll eat it.

...and its been over a year irl.

Olinda Peak was amazing. My char felt her power and strength of personality. I was hoping to cross paths again. Sad you are gone if that's the quality of your role playing.

I really didn't want to terminate the account as she held a few keys and was gathering food in a neighbouring town.. I felt guilty for Molly too.. I would have liked to bring her back then have her die. :/

It had to be done though..

Thanks for all the replies all, I'm really keen on knowing your characters who interacted with mine Especially Molly (with Olinda), Sarah, Edge, Herky, the Vel'Norians, .. I can guess who Jess is .. etc

Ug tried starting a revolution in AJS with the working class people, as a final fight.. but he felt he was betrayed a second time by his 'closest' brother. For those who are wondering, Tyr -did- die of hunger.. (maybe Ug noticed this and.. dragged him into a boat to starve at sea? )
