(personal note: these are the reasons why the whole community of Cantr was affected with a 40-days rule?? Oh my...)
That was a pretty mild example actually. I can't believe you've never run into a suicidal newspawn, I envy you man, there are times when I've had to put down several a week.
Girl spawns in the middle of town, yells, 'Ahhhhhhh!' and slaps everyone, including herself, hangs around a few minutes insisting she's crazy and begging people to kill her, then when no one wakes up finally leaves. I follow her out on the road and try to talk to her, she starts the 'Ahhhhhh!' thing again and tells me to kill her, starts swearing at me when I atfirst refuse. Finally I -do- get fed up and attack her, at which point she says 'thank you' and is suddenly polite.
Guy spawns, runs into a building and with one gram of hematite renders the stone table useless.
Another guy spawns, goes into a building, grabs up the town's entire supply of wood and wastes it on a cottage named after himself. Doesn't even bother to run, just hangs around and insults everyone until he's dead.
And then of course there's the note stealers, the sexually frustrated 14 year olds, the ones that act like they have Tourette's Syndrome, and the ones that seem to invent a
brand new form of idiocy with every char.
None of these things are unusual incidents in anyway. It happens every freaking day, several times a day.
And there's no
way I want to see any town inflicted with the same idiot over and over again...you think you're be punishing the
CRBer that way? All you'd do is give them a special slot for their own amusement to spawn a new char in every single day. We don't even get a message when a newspawn pops up, but the newspawn itself is active the moment they spawn, there'd be no way to drag every one of them into a jail in time and the guards would constantly be wasting their time on the road. Also the whole idea would cause OOC problems, since even if they
did eventually shape up everyone would know what the platyer was like and they'd never be trusted.
