and another 1:

* animals should attack each other. Like when Bears are hungry they will hunt rabbits OR when there are 2 (or more) herdes they would attack the animals in the other herde. Thats how its in RL.

I think the animals attacking people is fine. The number that can live in a given type of location needs addressed. Also more specific reasons for attack "they are just agressive", "they have run out of rabbits and now want to eat you", "you holding raw meat stupid", "you started it".

I would like to see people attacking animals change to an automatically repeating project.

On the turn change you have a chance to hurt or even kill an animal even if you can not do it today. You run a higher risk of being attacked by all of them when doing this activity. The animal number changes to "about 9 bears in the area" from "9 bears".

Let chracters interact normally with the town while hunting at least for now.

Someday a way to set killing traps and a way to check them.

Someday a way to set non-killing traps and bring the animal back and a way to hunt to capture rather than to kill.

I think the idea of refining the reasons animals attack would significantly reduce the problem. I understand attacking a bear will provoke it (or would learn very quickly, depending in the character in question's intelligence) but a mutual avoidance would help solve my Aki problem. *grinds teeth at thought of pelicans and mumbles something, trailing off...*

Well, since you can only attack an animal once a day, if you attack a group of 15 bears, you will only hurt 1. And then they will have enough time to attack you seperatly... 15 times!
Thats not really far. And when u got attacked by 15 bears you don't have much health left to kill a bear anymore.
And 99% of the times animals just attack you without you starting it. Can't animals have implemented a bit of peace with the enviroment? Maybe make some hippy animals...

I'd be bound to kill the hippy animals, I don't know why, just sounds fun.

You see a hippy bear smoke some hemp.

You see NiTeFyRe kill a hippy bear with his bare fist.

Hehehe. My little brother is whining to me since one of his characters was killed by wild boars. I'm laughing at him since I told him to get a shield weeks ago.
I think I like these attacking animals even more.

What-thu? A Cheetah in naron Forest?....

Of course my idiot character hit the damn thing - then realised he didn't have a shield. (Doh... a classic OOC brain fart of confusing chars)

For the record the magic penalty number is 30% when you piss off a cheetah.

Oh yeah there's two now... thank god my char remembered that a bunch of the Lad Guard had just left the area... cue the reinforcements :)

This animal boom may be killing pple and/or the game..

but it also brings some good things...
pple are now forced to work together against the animals.

Work together... something the dutch environement hasn't heard of... untill now (unless Llanoi... thats a bit extreme)

sorry, but the new environement is getting killed because of this animal spawning, just a few days ago one of my chars had to run from a bit of woods with fifteen boars, a few bears, a wolf, three cheetahs and a few non agressive animals, the whole place is infested with them, and it isn't likely to meet anyone with more than a wooden shield and hunting bow so there is no way to fight back, it takes a long time to kill a boar with a hunting bow and a wooden shield will not keep you alive long while a wolf is attacking you.

Not all new environments. Some areas have buildings and/or iron shields. I know of 5 people with iron shields off the top of my head. That's assuming 'new' means the Aki areas. If not, then yet again  I have missed the point :)

The people with the five shields and the building will discover many "lost" civilizations. One of which will be where my character came from.

You are remembered from the notes you write.
