Justin Chow. He was a fuckass, but he was fun to play.

My character absolutely despised Justin, and was very happy to see his body laying about, but as a player I can imagine he must have been fun to play. Kudos.

Erin Delias. I always have one type of her character, the type who wants to rule the world and is usually on a path to do this. Empires, Federations, Armies, etc etc. This one even started a secret spy organisation and were on the cusp of success until her husband and General of the Army cowardly left her alone in the heat of battle. She later set in motion events which would see his capture and dismantle her enemies, even after her death.

Raggar.

*sigh*

I will not go into detail as I know there are still a few things that may be playing out, but damn talk about one sad life.

Haha My charrie has no clue she's dead...but doesn't care really anymore. Obviously, he'd be upset to hear about her death, but his feelings for her faded. He's in love. ^_^ hehe

Yay! Good to hear Martial. I don't think it would have worked out with Erin and 'special_person' anyway, too much bad history and conflicting goals.

She would be upset to know that it didnt happen this way and they are all living happy little lives.

It's been a little while now and I didn't play her but Rani Mella. It really sucks when a long-time town leader unsubs in mid-sentence.

Yeah, Rani has left my char absolutely lost.... and confused.

I'd like that player to come forth with some sort of an explanation. It was cruel to kill off that many good characters without a warning.

If the player unsubbed like that, would they really be lurking around the forums still?!

One of my chars has been pretty lost as a result, too. I think this has got to be my biggest Cantr pet-peeve. If you're going to unsub fine, but at least demonstrate a little courtesy to your fellow players. If you don't care enough to roleplay your way out at least, at a minimum whisper to the second-in-command or something.

You are assuming that the unsub was something that was controllable (IE, not wanting to play anymore)

There are other reasons for quick unsubs such as if the player was a minor, the parent could have unsubbed or forced the child to unsub and so on. When I got into the accident last year, I didn't have a good opportunity to send messages out in game, woulda been hell typing it all from my cell (couldn't get to a computer) and was easier to just hit the "X".

I totally get that, even thought of a few examples while I was typing up my rant, but in the case of a player that has multiple characters in their 50s and above, most in leadership positions and holding ridiculous numbers of keys, you'd think there would be other options.
