back on topic i know this has been brought up before characters that do not capitalize or punctuate really irritate a couple of mine. cant trust people that do that

And yes, the people who talk in all lowercase bug me a bit, but it does add 'character' to the text, so I also enjoy it a bit too, in the same way you can appreciate the silent emote-heavy characters.

I did that for a while. Though someone pointed me at that. And I stopped doing that. And now it also irritates me a lot.

how can a character who doesn't capitalise what is SAID, irritate your character? you can't hear capitalisation.. :/

Because they remind me of rigel or buddyhall. I keep telling myself that they're playing from a phone, and it makes me feel a bit better.

haha, i remember, my first char spawned, saw stuff layin around, picked stuff up because it was out in the open and appeared free, then someone started yakin at me for takin stuff and i said it didn't belong to anyone, they hit me i left, then being a stone knight land, i duied before the day was out, i thoguht it was such a stupid death that i made anoither character and reused the name.

as for families, hey i almost had a good family clan start up, a coven actual under alexander corvinus,, got married even adopted a son, unfortunatly actions done on another island somehow caused his own peple to execute him, honestly, his favorite lord fell asleep and the other lord had him diced, so not fair lol,

i had another family that could have started, got as far as marriage, hans chamberlain went on a diplomatic mission and ended up helping chase a pirate, got killed ugh.... every time i try to make a family it gets.. genocided before it can really form...

as for long lived in game families that are well enough known to mention here i know 2, blackrocks and dananns, both originated from the same 16 city island

The fact is that cantr is a game expressed through written word. If people don't write correctly then it distracts people from the RP experiance and spoils the game somewhat for them.

I'm not really big on grammer at all but if I'm playing with someone who doesn't even try to use capitals then I think their an idiot, which automatically influences how I view their charries.
