Or alternatively when there's a character that one or more of your characters finds nice, and then another one finds them scary because they got off on the wrong foot.

Been there more than once and I still find it funny, currently one of my chars is friends with a char and he/she is an annoying person for another.

Oh - or better... you have your big ship parked outside of an abandoned no-harbor town and you undock your landing boat to do go dock to your big ship. Dock to the big ship. Then undock from the big ship again... only to now have to move your boat in order to re-dock to the big ship. Oopsie. :D

A couple years back I had a character show up in a town one of mine was in and was just waiting for it to be the same way it was before, hoping for it as well. Turns out, someone beat me to it and had already devastated this previously horrible character. Mine ended up feeling sorry for it and helped it rebuild its life.

Try doing that twice in a row. On the same character.

and then find out the person you are sailing with woke up, and the big ship is now moving, away from you...

If I was at work I bet Cantr would be all sorts of active and fun, but since I am off its just the opposite. :o

When someone can spend hours and hours or even the whole entire day whispering to someone but they never once take 30 seconds out of that time to say hello to your character or introduce themselves. Cantrians are the rudest people, seriously, and if you ask them again to tell you their name, they jump on you like you're asking some intimate personal question you have no business asking.

Well, to be fair...if you were having a conversation with someone that was obviously private, would you (IRL) stop that conversation to introduce yourself to someone?
Of course, it depends on the setting/environment, but it is equally rude to assume that someone should interrupt their conversation for you.

Now this, I don't get. I have run across two characters who seemed to think I have violated their being by asking them once who they were. Mine kind of just ignored them and moved on.

Well, usually the other person in said conversation bothers to introduce themselves, and is also talking to multiple people and setting up projects, announcing things, but second person refuses to acknowledge even that the person they're so busy talking to has turned around to say hello to someone and they can't do the same? In that case it's obvious the second person won't be interrupting the conversation to just introduce themselves, they just don't care about anyone outside of the one person they're talking to and decide to be rude. If both characters were pretending not to hear me I'd assume they're on the edge of town or something, but when one guy is talking to the entire town off and on all day but the girl he's talking to can't manage a "hello my name is ____", or even talk to one single other person in town, that character's just being rude. Once the guy has walked away several times and then restarted the conversation later, I don't feel like that conversation is one that can be interrupted, and it's really annoying. Like wow, you're even ignoring the person you're whispering to by ignoring the fact that THEY said hi, really?

Ahh, well that wasn't made clear in your other post. I agree then, it is quite rude in those circumstances.

I'm not sure which is worse. Emoting thoughts or others reacting as if they can read that char's thoughts.

Has anybody ever spawned somebody whose thoughts were consistently on display through some kind of aura that spoke directly to anyone in the immediate vicinity? Or to anyone the person touches? (Think Renesmee.)

Is such a thing even allowed in Cantr? lol

I use to find mind readers even more annoying. Except for one particular char who usually spurts wall of text after wall of text stating her inner thoughts and all sort of stuff of the like. But it's become a personal challenge to stay IC and not let the homicide instincts arise, so I'm starting to find it kind of fun in a very masochistic way.
