What west should have added in his post was:

You can set it by clicking on the "profile" button at the top of the screen, and putting you sig in the space labled "signature".

Not everyone can make heads or tales of computers (although you are here obviously), and it sometimes helps if you give pointers rather then just claiming it is easy (I have no problem with this kind of thing, but I know many that do).
