I heard it was about gender breakdown... but that's just me. :roll:

I'd be willing to bet that it's about a 50/50 distro. I think it would be cool if the powers that be could publish a lot of stats like this on a semi-regular basis, probably monthly. It would be easy enough to automate with scripting and shouldn't conflict with any anonymity issues.

Number of registered players
Gender distribution
Average registered age
Average account age
Location breakdown

Average values could be reported as either histograms or report max, min, mean, median, mode, and standard deviation.

a histogram is prefferable, or a frequency diagram, as you can estimate all the figures based on what you see, and you can get a better feel for the distribution.
