I'm afraid neither Modern Greek, Ancient Romanian nor Modern Saskatchewan are Cantr languages... if I can find somebody who can help me with those, I might create non-Cantr-based riddles for them though, for my site on languages.

Anthony requested German, and afterwards I got a request for Dutch. So the new riddle I posted is in German.

Yeah, the loser gets to choose :D

I can do Ancient Romanian, it's spoken as English (With all that "Thou" jazz), but the written dialect is completly different. Letters aren't like they are today, obviously. For example, a "E" is shaped like an "M" (An E turned 90 degrees), and an "A" is a vertial line, with two lines extending from the very top and just udner the top, declining on a 30 to 45 degree angle.

Kinda like... (Just ignore the dots, the forums dislikes more than one space and ends up clearing them :()

Anyway, it's the Ancient Romanian Alphabet, but can also be known as Britaniann, or the Runic Alphabet. Wah haaaaa. (At one point in time I wanted to be an Archeoligist, so shoot me.)

English -c becomes -que in French: e. g. fantastic -> fantastique
English -ious becomes -ieux in French: e. g. pious -> pieux
English -ief becomes -ef in French: e. g. brief -> bref
English -ary becomes -aire in French: e. g. necessary -> nécessaire
English -er becomes -re in French: e. g. November -> Novembre

Err... now that's a little bit misleading.
January = Januaire?
Beaver = Beavre?

:lol:
