Ok, if it is now that you will need several people to pull a note under a door (I didn't start complaining until coming personally to notice this) even if you are in perfect health, fully fed and not tired = in every case, that sucks big time. I mean come on, it's stupid enough that before someone could read the note while it was on the ground for the second you were pulling it, but that you would need to ask for assistance for sliding a tiny message under the door is just humiliating! And pointless. If the door is so thick that one person cannot do it then having several wouldn't make a difference.

What I used to like about the note sliding (though I have done it only a couple of times) is the privacy and possible anomity - though people outside will see you dropping a note they cannot know which note it was, what it said, who eventually dragged it and if there is no name then the people inside couldn't know who wrote it. People never paid much attention to it. But now: "Could someone please help me pull this threatening letter / anonymous insult / love poem / confession / expression of worry / stupid question / mysterious envelope to House X?" And what if you were alone, locked up somewhere, then all you could do is knock and hope that they don't get too mad and kill you before noticing the note on the floor? Or being the only living/awake person in a location? Give me a break!!
