My few town leaders were always like, oh you're thinking about building a car? Here, take mine. And like-I have all this shit in storage, I don't even know what it's for, lets load the car. Work for me? No, there's nothing to do but repair tools. I'll just build new ones.

But I am not a good leader and by extension can't seem to manage good leader characters lol.

I am all for joining in masses of anything on horseback swooping around things.

I'm for killing all of the horses.
They don't really fight back.

Only if they stand still, I suppose (can't attack horses on the road). Fortunately the Mongol horde never stops!

It is interesting to consider, however, that these vehicles can die. Currently all vehicles are invincible, they can't be stopped in any way other than killing their driver.

And for maximum effectiveness, kill all the horses before they get riders.

I can't imagine a char of mine wanting to kill such a majestic animal.
But since the OP of this thread is to use them as an enhancement to their aggression, I think about the best ways to cut the effectiveness of the problem.
First choice might be get a horse of your own and -then- destroy any that your opponents may acquire.
Wars were fought long before most of us ever played,(cantr wars too) over control of resources or their locations.

Horses were just made into a resource that could be used to foment aggression against others.

This could promote an equine genocide.
It might also increase the popularity of motored vehicles that specialize on paths and undeveloped roads. (jeeps, pickups etc)

There are likely always places someone could go to capture and bring home horses though, but how many people would it take to move one onto a land and/or sea vehicle?
Horse trading (sorry, I couldn't resist) may become a business for someone.

I was just trying to analyze some of the changes this could cause IG. I am sure I missed more than I thought of.

Anyway I'm going to get ahold of an ostrich and then wipe out all other, inferior rideables.

Serious question, though - do ostriches give a ton of meat and eggs in addition to being able to be ridden? I want to locate some now and start a ranch.

The only bad guys in cantr are cowards who pretend they are normal and then when your in a room alone with them everything changes. It's actually easier to be bad then people give credit for you just can't go around telling everyone you want to rape and pillage everything. I've been in groups of "bad guys". You can usually tell who the rough guys are. Mostly travelers.

But if you got a normal character with an average description it's a huge disturbance to the game when they decide to assassinate someone out of the blue. It's happened to enough people enough times.

If your evil show it and like minded people will flock to you. If your good then you shouldn't steal a towns keys one day when the leader dies.

The worst part is when you spare someone's life and all they do is continue to mess with other people.
