Are you sure it isn't 1800?

No. Its 6,000 with 2 repeats. 1,800 would already be complete long ago.

Re: Vehicles
Ah, the percentage is per repeat, so you have to work until 300% now.
So, you're now 56.6 percent until the end of this repeat.

Well thanks for clearing that up. Didn't know they were that different. Speaking of which, maybe you can help me on the time frame of a project I am working on. One of my characters is working on a 18000 gram silk gathering project started on day 4230. It is 56.6 percent complete. Based on my earlier logic of cantr time I assumed it would take me about 3 real months to complete. Uhhh now I have no idea. Can you help correct me with this? Im trying to figure out how long till its finished.
How long it will take depends on your char's skill. So.. Just after the next work tick, make a note of your progress (the difference between the value after the tick, and the value you have given). Deduct the total progress from 100, then divide the result by the hourly progress. That will tell you how many hours you need to work to finish it. If you divide this by eight, that will tell you the result in days.
Of course, this applies to the remainder of this project. If you divide hundred by the hourly progress, you can find out the length of the full project (6k).

I'll ask again after the next click. All of that, that I understood was the click by click percentage. Otherwise it just went right over my head hehehe.

Re: Vehicles
Correct me if Im wrong but each tick is every time the ingame clock jumps another hour right? If so, my character is going at a rate of 0.1 per click. Since the last time I posted, it is now 56.7% and character's collecting rate is efficiently.

Re: Vehicles
The project will, when working efficiently, take about (3x)80 days of work. That indeed is something like 0.1% each tick.
I suggest you find a co-worker.

Yes, that much I gathered. Realisticly speaking I meant. I've been doing this same project for almost 3 real months and only at 56% of the first repeat. I still have two to go. How long real based, will it be finished is basicly what I'm trying to figure out.

Re: Vehicles
The total time for this repeat should be something like 100/56.7 times the number of days you already spent. But it will be a bit less as your character will get better at collecting while working.
By the numbers i suspect your char already has improved or has been injured/severely tired while working on the project (your character should have reached this point after about 45 days of working efficiently).

Re: Vehicles
I was just going to comment that under ordinary circumstances the project should have finished by now (if you started 3 months ago and that you had been working continuously).
I really don't know what you mean by "click by click" percentage, though.

Well it hasn't been completed yet. and it looks like it wont be for awhile. Click by click percentage is the time frame in which it takes. Each time the ingame clock presents a new hour, the percentage clicks upward, a little bit. Each hour, a new click. 56.6 clicks becomes 56.7 clicks. and so on.
Ever used a stop watch to time a group of people? each time you press the button to add a new time, it clicks.

Re: Vehicles
Just a side note; the "max you can gather/produce" number is what an average character can gather/produce in 80 IRL days.

Yep. That is what I was basing it on. and 80 IRL days is just shy of 3 months. so I uhhh.. I have no idea why its only at 56%.. maybe I miscalculated. It sure feels like its been 3 months...

Re: Vehicles
My bad folks. I did miscalculate. It will take almost 3 months for the first one to complete, not that I've done 3 months. Sorry. Looks like I've done almost 2 months worth of it. started on day 2430. Its day 2493 now.
