I think you exaggerate. I doubt hundreds of characters die a day, and it would be pretty impressive for you to be killing 2 a day...one of my most bloodthirsty characters has had trouble killing 2 a year.
And your regional sense is odd...Cantr City as I knew it would take insults quietly, and that wasn't long ago...Seatown Forest used to be the scariest place in my experience (I'm not sure about the new administration). Death can make a difference...not the death of newspawn sub-persons, but of a character that has established some importance in some way. It's even possible to establish that importance by the same thing that gets you killed...One person recently had an involuntary chance at that.

Ah, well, i have someone in Lake Village, and that is like Thife land. I kill someone everyday with that person. And i'm not exaggerateing, also SFN, i have a sheriff there. He kills a few thives here and there. But alot of places have gotten better.
