Coin Press Question.

Postby bnlphan » Mon Aug 12, 2013 4:26 am

I've never made or even used a coin press but I keep wondering about counterfeit coins. If I make a press that stamps Let's say "Cantr Bank" and use those coins for currency? Is there anything keeping someone from making a second coin press with the same stamp? If so would it be possible to block multiple presses from making the same stamp? Or would this be something that should be policed in game? I can see both sides if we want currency to develop we need to block counterfeiting but I also like the idea someone could take a chance on passing "fake" coins for a profit.

1. Click on Search link in forum's top tool bar.
2. Enter search terms "+coin +press" in the top box. The + signs mean that it will only find forum posts that include both "coin" and "press".
3. Click Search bottom at bottom.
4. Learn everything that's been discussed on the forums about coin presses, including this answer to your question:

Didn't know about the "+" options. Thanks for the tidbit, Wichita! Maybe there should be a forum search tutorial made up.
