One is my real name (But not 'Anthony', instead, a nickname), and the other is the name of an actor, that plays a mafia character in a movie named Anthony (Guess who!) - They're small things.

At least I'm not... Adolf Dumboldore and building 'Hogwarts' in the game to teach, you guessed it, Witchcraft and Wizardary. That made me furious... can't people... be original?!

Dude, I answered you before. It's James Gandolfeeni, the actor for Anthony Soprano. *goes into the other room to check his poster* Oooh yeah, relevant topic, Sopranos...just won Best Drama at the Emmy's.

I appreciate original and creative names, with no reference to known rl persons/characters.

A few of my favourites:

Fnarg Applepip
Mishka Roop
OEnone
Karûnkûn Gwarov (luckily shortened to Gwar)
Sinbaba Barooka

just to name a few.

I also think your creative Anthony. *looks around* Who said that.

No seriously. Anthony's char. named one of mine after food. My char's name is Algus Coaper. He wairs it proudly although he is alittle dumbfounded. I think it's a cool name. I couldn't think of one that unique even if I tried :P .

Algus Coaper! Yeah, that used a lot of brain power to think of that.

And, Jon, I know you answered all about the mafia actor guy, but you're the only one that got it >.> No one else knows.

Simple but I like it.

Hm. I like a lot of names. Though mostly I like ones that stick out but aren't necessarily odd.

Alexa Castellese
Valentine Dangle
Caillou Short
Lissette--is a fantastic name
Adan--I've seen an Adan somewhere
Morgadu
Maruja--(Shes my own yes. When I was in HS our Spanish teacher had us choose spanish names and one of my friends chose the name Maruja. Mah-roo-ha.)

One of my chars whose names I most liked was Abbigail Mornet. I liked her name so much I used a variation of it on another of my characters without even realizing it. (Though I don't have the accents on it, it would have been pronounced Mor-nay)

I think my favourite of my own names has to be Pura Kat'han Moloto. As with all my names, it has no source but my head.

This is disturbing T, we've gotta do something about it. ;)

Heck, I don't have HBO, but I rent each season as it comes out from blockbuster.

Mmmmmm. So yeah, mmm *makes HBO free for all* I didn't do nuthin'!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Awright, letse, Oasis is right on with my choice for Gwar, awesome name.

Oh Adan, what about El Adan? (sp?) Is he who you're refering to Missy?

Louis O's name is a bit confusing...when I'm trying to figure out someway of sayin it, should I say his whole name, or just Louis. Hmmm.

I like the name Mamey Dwyer.

Ooooooh and Zady Zwellinger too.

I mostly see names as just a label to remember someone by, not just in game, but in RL also, so I'm not really particular toward many, but Calico Jack, Muldy Bread, and Felix Leiter are some that have stuck in my head. My favorite I come up with was Moss Valley, but he got chased down and killed by the animals on Aki island.

Blah, I knew it too, I just didn't bother posting it because I don't even watch that program.

I've been guilty of filching names in the past, I admit--some of the older LOTR-themed fellas and ladies are mine (Arwen Evenstar was one), but it's really interesting how quickly you stop thinking of somebody IG as their IRL 'counterpart' because of their game personality.

For example, I don't even think "Austin Powers, International Man of Mystery" when I see Austin Powers in Karnon Forest, because he's such a distinctive personality.

There was once a Justin Timberlake in Blaman that I had a hard time not killing.

Anyway, some of my favorite Cantr names ever:

Glioera Fwudebode (sp?)
Hako Otoko
Purple Tortoise
Johny Waffle
Vender Ghost
El Adan
Ad Astra
RTS Zheng
Theodore Wellington
Bas Vercetti
OEnone
Jame DeLeo--I didn't like it when he changed it to James later--Jame was much more distinctive.

a few of those are my own, I admit, but they're all dead, and I would hardly name a character something I didn't like.

Hako Otoko I was particularly proud of; it's from a Japanese play and means something to the effect of 'man in a box'. El Adan is Quenya for "man of stars" and Ad Astra is Latin for "to the stars". I was on a star kick in those days--abt. 32 Cantr Years ago now.
I'm not dead; I'm dormant.

Probably my favorite character name is either Tia Hamasaki, Velfred Blackrock, or Dirk Janakowsky. I don't think I've heard of another Velfred in the game.
