Quick question about machinery...

Postby TCon » Tue Jul 03, 2012 2:34 pm

Will machinery and/or cots take up some of the weight inside a building or a cabin on a ship? Or will the room still be considered empty if there are only machines in it? And if it does take up space, is there a way to tell how much it will use before I build it in a room? Thanks!

To answer your first set of questions... I don't really know, but I do know that some people like to put all their machinery in one giant hall so that people can all work in there together.

To answer your second question, yes. You look up the capacity of the room on the wiki and subtract the weight of all the materials it takes to build the machine.

Thanks for what you did know about it, Snickie. I appreciate it. If anybody else knows for sure about whether a machine will use some of the space in a room, please let me know. Thanks!
