I found one of my chars this Sunday... but it was one of my stories' char, not a cantr one. I went to speak with him and asked him if he could take him a photo. :P

Totally! And it was also the thought "is this cheating or just onanism?"

I have a Dutch char, but right nowq he's in a place with no Dutch, only one Spanish inhabitant, and a few other foreigners (Germans, suspected Polish and some English and other Spanish) travelling through... trying to come up with a way to ask the Spaniard living there to help bust the lock off of my char's travelling companion's motorcycle after that companion died there with most of the supplies on her motorcycle lol...
Problem is, from what my char has managed to observe there, it's just as likely that the Spaniard will end up chopping his head off and busting the locks to both motorcycles as it is that he'll actually help my char :p

Other possibility that char is considering is to travel back to another place with a few Dutch people to ask for help there, but the problem is there's not enough fuel on his motorcycle - sucks when those supplies are stuck on one motorcycle and the only possible help is someone you can't really trust or even speak to lmao...

One of my colleagues is a dead ringer of my late char's ex husband. Three words: Tall, dark & handsome. Same brown eyes with a golden gleam; long, dark brown hair... It is eerie. He is also an expert at sarcasm and a tough guy with a heart of gold that he thinks none of us can notice. :) Except for the extremely creative swearing on my colleague's part, they are very similar. It is funny at times as I keep thinking X would have said/done that, too, etc.
PS: We get on really well. :P

The first time or two that I waited on him I kept trying to figure out where I recognized him from and then when it finally hit me I had to keep myself from grinning. And we're supposed to greet each customer by name if they come in and we know them, so I've caught myself about to call him the wrong name before.

I actually did it yesterday. I called one of my customers by my character's name. I'm so ashamed. Luckily the name I used is a common name and sounded similar to the guy's real name, so I quickly just apologized and told him my brain froze up and he just looked like a _________ to me. Now, I don't know how I'm going to explain myself if one of my other customers comes in and I say "Hey Puddle, how are you..."

Oh my, I've found that soooo cute *.*

Same guy, at the beach... meh, I surrender this time, who am I to fight against the laws of coincidence? We're having a beer tomorrow, I wonder if he'll be as jerk as my char is (not probable, actually) and, which is more interesting, if we'll have new player

So, I'm watching re-runs of a spin-off program from one of my favorite Sci-Fi series a few weeks ago. This particular spin-off program was one that I never followed when it was originally on. Nonetheless, I must have watched it once or twice, because I was alarmed to see, watching it recently, that I subconsciously modeled one of my Cantr characters on a character in the show! At first I thought "well, its somewhat of a stereotype personality, even if its not used much in modern entertainment. Probably just a coincidence." Then, the character in the show was referred to by his first name... and it was the same name I had chosen for the "coincidental" Cantr character! I realize a television program isn't exactly real life, I just wondered if this has ever happened to anyone else. And here I thought I was being sooo original!
"Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man."
