Why dont you all go back to what this topic is meant to be?

I have met IG a couple different types of physically different characters

so far two mutes, one deaf and now one blind.

The first mute i met was really well played.. i liked that character, but the player of her got bored with cantr, i guess and the account died.

Second mute, played in Karnon Forest, not really paid attention to there kinda sad because it looks like a well played character.

The mute... played by good ol Pixish woman is of course a well played character, i like that one as well.

And last, seko's blind woman... i didnt notice at first that she was blind, not until she flat out told my character did i know, really well played, blind womans. =D

i met one mute before, she used to live in Krif... I think the last time I seen her was in Drojf. That was the only time I recall runing into a character like that.

Mutes are nothing uncommon for me as a player--I've run into them all over the place. Sring-Sri, Krif, Tircqi, Quillanoi--it's like a plague. And, the thing of them is, rarely are they well-played. *sigh*

If it's a plague, it's a really quiet one

I play a bloke of the simple variety... He gets used by folk to do tasks they don't want to do, then all he gets is a pat on the back. Its quite a sad story, but hopefully his luck is changing now...

It's a hard world to live in when people don't give you the time of day because you're different! But well interesting never the less.

no no... Amy in KF is deaf, not mute. she can read lips and has to do actions like *watches those around her speak* but shes not mute, just deaf as can be. She is also shy as a result of the deaf thing. I took her indoors (the library) to develope her a bit better, I don't think I RP her quite right yet. Still figuring out how to give her an accent that shows her in-ability to hear and speak exactly like a normal person. accents are hard to play in a text based game...

"hell-oh, I am Ay-mie. I cahnnot unnerstand yu. pleez speek directlie at me"

hell no, can't do that, people eyeballs would bleed.

Psycho Pixzie womans.
Here I am. BITE ME. or not, in fact, never mind, dont want some wacko taking me up on the offer. Only non wacko's may apply for bite allowance.. no garentee that you will be granted said allowance, but you can try.

i've got a charrie in KF (currently out of town) and i think Amy's well-played for being deaf, although she doesn't say much because of it. Her attentiveness when she's being spoken to is beyond anything I could RP.

Kudos to you, pixie

Oh...I have a black character too, but that isn't working out that well since we don't have desciptions.

I actually have two chars with names that sound alot like African Americans might have.
The rest are a variety, although I never paid much attention to it.
