That kind of verifies my impression they were a bunch of bullies with an obsession of constructing stone landmarks. ;)

I'll be honest, I don't miss the Barons. Definitely a negative contributor to the game.

Yeah, to be honest characters and groups like this annoy me a lot, whether they're wiping out entire towns or just secretly dragging one person off to murder them. If you're taking away someone's character that they've put so much work and care into you had better at least give them some decent RP while you're doing it, anything else is just lazy and disrespectful IMO.

And I see people who wipe out entire towns as seriously hurting the game too...not that these poorly run towns with sleeping leaders couldn't use a good little shake up now and then, but killing everyone is seriously lame. Especially if there's no RP, I see that as cutting off all these awesome potential stories just to powergame and completely missing the point of Cantr. Kidnap or kill a few important people and you've started a major event that forces a town to adapt and encourages lots of RP from everyone in the area, slaughter everyone in a dark room with no interaction leaving no witnesses and you've done just the opposite.

If I ever manage a really successful evil character I would put some serious flair into them, make sure their were always survivors to spread the word of how awesome they were. But then again, I would be looking at it from the point of view of 'how can I make the game more interesting for everyone' and not 'how can my char get more stuff?'

I look forward to seeing your evil mastermind in action! The greater the evil the greater the good that fights it! There needs to be more extreme personalities, a lot of people seem to just do stuff to pass themselves. My characters are not willing to be potato collectors all their lives!

My characters are not willing to be potato collectors all their lives!

Funny, those usually go insane, start swaring randomly and hitting people.
Why don't YOU make an evil character?
I have some selfish or morally deranged characters, but they're still human, they're not mustached silent movie villains.
Rescatemos nuestro oro mis valientes. ¡Con coraje!¡Con la espada! ...con los dientes.

*mental click in his brain* Mustaches! That's what we've all been missing. There is a serious lack of mustache in cantr. And we already missed movember.

I used to have a guy with a fine mustache but he got killed by the Stone Knights. ...I miss my old characters.
