The worst thing I have seen since starting Cantr is:

‘Never! Run before you walk! Fly before you crawl! Keep moving forward! You think we should try to get a decent mail service in the city. I think we should try to send letters anywhere in the world! Because if we fail, I’d rather fail really hugely’

I LOVE Scarab Haunt! <3
It's a shame I haven't been there in over three Cantr years.
I really want to go back, but SOMEBODY… *glares at his player with a slight air of juvenility* doesn't want to.
Anyways, I love the people there, there are a lot of natural resources (unlike where I am now), the food is great…
Other than the fact that the technology isn't very good (despite being relatively populous, it still doesn't have very advanced technology that I saw, although there were several buildings I'd never gone into, so I can't say for sure), it is one of the best towns in the entire game, in my opinion.
Edit: I agree wholeheartedly with Greek.

I'd love to experience it, but I have exactly zero chance of ever finding the place.

It looks worse for me, because i'm using that grease monkey script to remove all styles from the site.

Doug R. wrote:Apparently, the ISP shut Cantr down because of a denial of service attack (DOS). They may have also blacklisted the site. We can't contact them until Monday at the earliest, and given the amount of explaining that needs to be done on both sides, I wouldn't get your hopes up for a quick resolution. We don't have any more information at this time.
I almost cried when I'd seen this, both IRC and here.
