Re: The History of Cantr
I remember building up credits so I could buy more time, or knowing when a player ran out of time because my thief character was able to get away lol

Any reason why there are so many Polish in Cantr? I've noticed that their language group started relatively late (after a few years). I've been to Poland, but I can't recall any billboards with the green smiley face on it.

We're just good at word-to-ear marketing, or however is it called
Or maybe it's just that live in PL sucks so much people long to escape into the Green?

I remember all the players being given extra credits in honour of day 2000. I think I spent only a few, always thinking there'd be a better time to use them.
Those were the days.

I heard there was a lot of poles. My friend who told me to play always bitched about Polish Pirates making it hard to get to certain places intact.

I've only ever encountered one Pole the whole time I've been playing Cantr. But that area is surrounded by Polish-speaking regions (if you want to travel for a year or so).
Lots of Polish notes, though. Most of which I have run through a translator online (cheating, I know, but it was faster than looking between the two notes (there was a translation note somewhere I'd picked up) side-by-side). It has been…interesting, to say the least.
