Drunkenness, Thirst, Dirtyness?

Drunkenness, Thirst, Dirtyness, I see the bars in game but what do they actually do? I know some of it isnt implemented yet but what is? and what are the plans?

Maybe when char drink water,alcochol,use soap (we need soap!)... and something happen more than now.

Yeah, at first I wasn't really sure how dirtiness or drunkenness would be fixed... like, would the character have to sleep to get off of a hangover or something?

Now, when beverages are so popular we could use the bar to indicate how much mead, wine or tea character consumed, and possibly connect it with negative effects (lower production efficiency, lower chance to hit, or driving speed).

As has been heavily discussed in the suggestion thread, wouldn't this just make people just roleplay drinking instead of "real" drinking and thus avoid the negative consequences?

That's what we are forced to do now. I for instance would prefer to drink for real. Who cares if you work 20% slower if you've nothing important to do anyway.

I just roleplay the effects of alcoholic drinks...I can see this becoming something like the sneezes.
