7 - 2 - 3 - 1 - 0 - 3 - 4 - 4 - 1 - 3 - 3 - 0 - 0

That's a total of 30 people. But i'm a heartless bastard and care about less than that in real life so it's actually quite good. :P

I only care about myself

Just kidding. I found this thread quite interesting, even if it is old, so here goes.

0 - 2 - 2 - 4 - 0 - 0 - 6 - 1 - 6 - 0 - 0 - 1 - 0 - 0 - 0

I'd say 62, including people that I at least know the personality of.

So, do you guys think that online friendships (including Cantr characters) count against one's total cognitive capacity for maintaining social relationships? In other words, on average, would you expect people who know a lot of people online to have fewer quality face-to-face contacts? After all, there are only so many hours in a day, maintaining relationships takes time and effort, and every hour you spend online is an hour that you could (but not necessarily would) be spending in face-to-face interactions.

At least I have very little contacts outside the Internet, and outside Cantr. If I skip school, I might spend a day or more not seeing another person. I talk to myself though, and sing.

That's a good one.

I can say for sure that I can switch people from my foreground to my background to my oh-yes-I-know-him/her more easily. Which, considered the rate at which you usually contact new people thru the net, means that people known face-to-face have a harder time remaining in my attention-span. And that personally I dislike since I'd like to be knowing interesting new people face-to-face at the same rate than in the net.

I hope it's not that interesting people are more scarce today. :?
