Dead bodies

Postby Cherize » Sat Aug 11, 2007 11:22 pm

My characters have seen two people die today, but no bodies on the ground. Has the game changed or is there a bug?

Probably you missed something, like someone buried them or moved them before you could see or they were new people that died after a few days.

As I understand it, you need to stay into the game for a while before you leave a body because some people start accounts and never come back and that could leave a ton of dead bodies with all the people that do it. If they were really new, the body is just gone or instantly buried, I don't know, but its a good thing in handling new players and not having to bury tons of bodies.

We'll see, but I really don't think that is the case. One of them was eighty and I looked in the Objects and Activities, 3 minutes after his death.

Could the body be in a vehicle? Was the death just before a project tick?

Maybe in a boat. That's a possibility.

Nope. I noticed this earlier today. No bodies. I sent a bug report to programming or whatever. But yeah, these people were not newspawns. I saw three. 2 in their 50s and 1 in their 20s but at least several years old.

If a body dies in a vehicle or building that had reached it weight maximum when the character was alive, does it remain at the same weight- thereby making the body undraggable?

Body do loose wight and finally decompose, but quite slowly.... The requesting help in general support, admins routinely have to clear these things up.

Just to close out the original issue and clear some of the mystery... One of the missing bodies reappeared later. I don't know if they fell into some void that day or were sent to Karnon again ( :P ), but it seems to be alright now.
