My idol - what an organizer!

Jo Jo is a legend. I don't know how Apache could have played more than one character, as busy as Jo Jo always was.

Speaking of Missing Players; nice to see that leg again. Now if you could just bring your characters back to life. :(

I always thought it was cool playing a game with someone my dad's age.
Jo Jo is a legend among charries.

Although they don't admit it to everyone, you have probably role played with someone your grandparent's age.

Colonel, I talked to on AIM a year or so back--never heard from him since, but I have seen him on the Cantr IRC channel very sporadically.
***EDIT: What do you mean, he's missing? He posts on the forums still. He runs the Cantr radio.***

Pirate Lass accidentally deleted her account years ago, and never fully got back into it. Or so I recall. I haven't heard from her in a while.

Anthony Roberts is still alive, albiet not really acknowledging my attempts at communicating with him. I read his LiveJournal, but he's never on any messengers.

*snicker*

Well, he was a good player, at least.

What is the Cantr Radio exactly? I've never seen it, or more particularly, heard it.

Not really Cantr radio anymore.. Colonel used to have his own little station and it was called Cantr radio. The DJ's would talk about Cantr and play music, sometimes requests. Colonel saw it as too risky in a legal way and joined with a larger station, CFXR radio. Now CFXR is connected with Backspin radio (may have been all along) and they're merging with a larger online radio station. Colonel still talks about Cantr some, but it's no longer only Cantr players that make up the other DJ's. It sorta lost its unique quality and charm after it joined the bigger fish. Really sad.. We all still love the Colonel, though. Here's the link to the main thread about it:

I was sad when Pirog left. He was the big influence when I was crafting Samantha Mayer's personality and spiritual life course.

Didn't he disappear in Thailand a while back? hehe

I, too, wonder what happened to Pirog. He was a good role-player.

I've just realised (ok, less of an epiphany, more of a general wonder) a whole bunch of people have dropped off the map, really silently.

Considering that I have zero contact with any players outside of these forums, if anyone is in contact with Oasis (Netty), Junesun (Judith), Jur, Jeslange (Jessica) and Jos, send them my best wishes :)

I hope I too eventually get something better to do than post on these boards (roll on postgrad study in September)...

I thought you were also one of those with better things to do than read the junk here Jon? ;)

MA in Geographical Research Methods - with possible PhD at the end of it... Whether I do something public-policy orientated (so I can get a job...)or head for funding under the 'youth culture in a globalised world' project I have yet to decide...

If the Odysseus Unbound project picks up, I have first dibs on a report on the social and cultural impact... (And scrabbling 'round with a trowel during the archaeological dig...) Yay for two years in Greece :)
