Emoting in the past tense

Personally, I can't stand it.

I don't have the character say anything, but I can't help but think that the player, and therefore the character, is less intellegent because of it.

If you're offended, well, tough. That's what I think, I don't see why anyone should lie about it.

Seconded - there are a lot more pressing issues with the game than what tense people use in emotes (and you are all heathens unless you use the pluperfect *he had smiled* )

Seriously, I am against it, you two, I understand your point But what he means is people who switch in and out of it by accident AND people who just keep in it..

I understand it's a game and doesn't matter an aweful lot but it is annoying!! if it occurs a lot.

To add to that, Schme, I reread your post and it does sound like a rant so I understand how HF and Chris reacted to it, it does sound like you're complaining but you raise a good point.
