Rhino's don't seem to be too agressive. I've seen people hack them to pieces with out them even flinching...took them a while to kill but they didn't even respond.

I've been around mammoths and elephants and they've been behaving nicely, though so have I. Being perhaps the most clumsiest hunter in the world, my character cannot afford to annoy them. He did get attacked by a scarab though. 0 damage thanks to an iron shield.
