Resources will be added too to the list? This isn't being overdone? May I suggest "bags" and "sacks" and "bottles" to put resources in so they aren't revealed?

To hide resources, it would already be possible. Just need to add larger carrying containers.

For objects to be hidden, programming would need to be done in order to deposit objects into a container. Once that happens, then it will be possible to hide your weapons and such.

However, as a reprocussion, I would reccommend (I'm not saying it will be agreed upon) that these bags be visible.

And, Industriallist, apology accepted :P

Ah, a use for portable containers. Very good. This will also adress the issue of people wanting to be able to conceal their weapons, and it still maintains a fair balance because the container will be visiable. I like it.

It would be nice if certain clothes increased the size of object that you can hide. I bet you could conceal a lot more under a fur cloak than on your naked body.

This would also give a practical reason for clothing. It lets you hide more 'toys'

I wouldnt even want to hide a potato on my naked body... ouch.

Bump.

What I specificly want to know is:

What weapons can be concealed?
Is clothing needed to conceal them?
Does bulky clothing actually increase the size of things you can hide, as was suggested earlier in this thread?

I ask, because knowing what weapons are concealable would be common sense, so I think it's OK to reaveal this (I want to make sure a weapon I think should be concealable actually is before I make it.)

(Thread name changed for clarity)

The wiki has articles for every holdable object in Cantr. Some list, among other things, whether the item is visible to others - this data will eventually be available for every object (Talapus has been adding most of it - coolness points to him).

It would have been better if you just opened another thread under support
but for the record the non-visible objects which can be used as weapons are as follows:

screwdriver
knife
reamer
steel dagger
blow dart pipe
bone knife
small stone pot
stone pot
adze
steel dirk
small wooden shaft
bronze dagger
bronze dirk
bronze bagh-nakh
bone bagh-nakh
steel bagh-nakh
stone cleaver

Clothing (absence/size etc) has no effect on visibility

Oh, bone-bagh-nahk... right... now things make a little more sense. :D

They didn't use to have this feature? Looking at the beginning of this topic I think it was implemented about half a year before I joined Cantr. (I joined forum later than I joined Cantr)

Nope. Used to be you couldn't see what anyone was carrying. Only way to make sure they weren't hiding a weapon was to do a weight test.
