Not wanting to know

Postby mrsE » Sun Mar 14, 2004 4:19 am

My character has a romatic relationship and I have just realised that I don't want to know who is behind her romatic interests character. Am I the only one that's like this?

Actually I am curious. I just don't want to find a girl behind the character..

Im kinda the opposite, i would like to know who controls my characters 'girl' but kinda like you said, would be very odd to find that it is another guy/girl. I dunno if i would be comfortable with it >.>

Oh I know that. It would just be harder to identify with my character if I knew it was girl controlling my characters fiancé. Silly I know. :)

I wouldn't have a problem with it. I know that it wouldn't change the way my char acts.

I can see how some people would be at odds with it, I guess I just have an open mind, and don't really care who it is controlling the other char. Afterall, it's just a char. Like S.W. said, what happens IC, stays IC.

You character's "fiancé"?......I have a guess of who you are.......Well, i just want it to be a girl, thats all.....if its a guy....i think most guys will still play there girls too manly or too girlish.....so i don't really worry about that since none...well 2 will, but most won't go for any of those.......

My character Tina Beebleford once had a beginning romance with Barrador Lusk in Brunoi. However, after I revealed that I was behind her, the player of Barrador (a fellow staff member back in the days) immediately backed off.

So, yes, knowing can actually ruin such promising romances. But his fearful breaking up showed me, that Tina was doing a good job seducing him. It's funny, because she wouldn't have been my type of girl at all. ;)

I love to know who is playing who and it doesn't effect me in anyway. But none of my characters are romantically involved or lost partners.

Graiwe had a crush on Theresa Polk but she died.

Red had a crush on Sammy Lacey but she loved another man and now she has disappeared.

So you see, my Irish luck has certainly rubbed off on most of my characters as far as romances goes. As the saying goes, Irish don't get married until they are well into their fourties so there maybe some hope for some of my characters.

yeah... I am pretty sure I dont want to know. I have one char that is really involved with anyone, and I would hate to find out that is played by a guy... it would feel just to odd for me. Better to just not know for me :D

Don't get me wrong but I don't have a problem with it.
