Dragging an alive person should take a few ticks.

Dragging an alive person should take a few ticks, no matter how weigth and strength is distributed. Its ridiculous a whole town can be locked into a room in notime without being able to react when 3 dedicated people are online at once.

Yeah, that would work wonders when capturing thieves.

I understand you are mad you died, I would be too, but this will fix nothing.

It sounds like to me that you guys were dragged and then killed so let me ask you this cat, if you weren't dragged, would you of still been killed?

You are supposing I'm mad. No I'm not, it was a newspan. I'm just noticing an increadible unbalance in the game.

About this "realism" argument. Suppose there is a group of 20 people in a place, whose players are just not online. Now 4 people come in, and drag this 20 people into a room. Within a minute. Realistic? Hardly. 20 people are much stronger than 4.

Therefore dragging should take a few ticks.

About thieves, oh well then it takes a few ticks to throw a thief into prison, and?

Also to underline, this applies only to alive persons. Dragging objects and dead bodies can stay instant.

It's like in those dinosaur movies, they pick out everyone one by one, not all at once. It's perfectly realistic.

No? because in RL people start reacting when the first one is captured?

It would take an incredible amount of coordination for such a dragging event to transpire.

And I'm not arguing "realism" on this part.

As for you to just brush off my point that it would benefit criminals, that just further kills the validity of your suggestion. Dragging away criminals is the most effective method to stop them from getting away with their crimes. Otherwise, you have to go on the road and kill them. It's a pain in the butt.

If they are sleeping they cannot react. Moreover...sleeping person is easier to drag.
I have a cunning plan...

If they aren't sleeping they would react, but if a guard is sleeping, how could they? Same applies to Cantr.

I don't know about you guys, about first the moment I'm dragged I wake up. Same happens when a horde rushes into your town and starts pulling people off, who of course should wake up, and of course start screaming.

cantr is not reality, its not an argument!

and I still consider it unbalanced that 4 organized people can drag off 20 people. Actually they must be OOC- organized, since they have all to be online the same moment, and that in a time where every normal human sleeps.

They can even drag 100 people.

Maybe dragging could cause more tiredness? As for now, it's 2%. What about 5%?

I thought it used to be more? I really, really did. 2% seems too little.

Is it really 2%? I thought it was more. An increase would be good, especially to decrease the power of tea pirates. :P

4 people jump out of a vehicle and i got 24 dragging events in the log. (12 people dragged into a room within a house) Maybe I read something wrong, but it looks like that.

It's really 2%, I checked, and I can guarantee that it used to be more. Why it was ever changed, I have no idea, but upping it is a valid topic of discussion. As for the original suggestion, I can guarantee rejection.
