Granted, your beard is now long enough to braid, too bad you just tripped over it and broke your arm.

I wish my cat would stop licking the bottom of my shoes.
Oh look, another glorious morning… makes me SICK!

Granted. Your cat now likes licking the bottoms of gumshoes, giving detectives across the country a bit of a shock and alerting criminals to their whereabouts, sending crime rates through the roof.

I wish I could see music in shapes and colours like a synesthetic (Thanks kicking jay!).

Yeah there are.

Granted, Otherside. You are now able to see (but not hear) the music you love. Unfortunately they are all ugly colors that you hate, and they become the only thing you can see ever, rendering your visual input useless so you can no longer drive, watch movies, or play Cantr ever again. Additionally, the only music you can hear is the music you hate.

Granted, Snickie. But now your eyes can't stop watering, so you look like you're crying all the time. Boohoo!

I wish I could find a wish with no downsides.

Granted, but it has at least 3 up sides so your wish is turned completely upside-down, sorry :(

I wish.... that someone would suggest a good book for me to read.

Granted, someone just suggested the book that would change your life. After reading it, you'll become a millionaire, marry the person you love and live happily ever after. Too bad you weren't around to hear the suggestion. (:

(At the risk of breaking the one rule of this topic: have you tried the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett?)

I wish I could control the weather.

Granted, now everyone in the world can control the weather.

I wish my pen never runs out of ink.

Granted. You spill ink on all your important, irreplaceable documents. Meanwhile Donald Trump is elected president and since you no longer have paperwork, you are promptly escorted to Papua New Guinea and are eaten alive by cannibals.

I wish to know what this bite-like-thing on my arm is on my arm, even if it'll kill me.

Granted. It's a mark left from where aliens implanted a microchip, and now that you know, they have no choice but to wipe it from your memory once more. You're left in a continuous loop of wondering about the bite like thing on your arm, and it eventually drives you insane.

I wish I could find the motivation to work on writing my novel.

Granted. After a few months you finish your novel. However it is so bad all critics start to criticize and you end up choosing suicide. 7

I wish I could have a happy life for years to come.

Granted. You have a brain injury that results in severely diminished mental capacity to the point that you have no worries about life or living as others take care of you. You live quite a long time, though.

I wish zombies were real.

Really?
Okay, zombies are real. A virus quickly spread throughout the corpses of humans, turning them not into badass, shambling monsters, but happy, mindlessly friendly creatures that invade everyone's personal space and give out free hugs, making things awkward for everyone.

I wish I had more friends...

Granted, unfortunately they all catch the zombie virus and no longer care about you, only occasionally breaking into your house to give you free hugs whilst you sleep.

I wish that for just one hour it would rain delicious sweets from the sky all over the world.
